Speaking Wednesday, Bengals OC Brian Callahan said second-year WR Tee Higgins is "markedly more explosive" this summer.
Higgins was a major bright spot for the Bengals in his rookie season after being taken at the top of the second round at No. 33 overall. He fell 92 yards short of a 1,000-yard rookie season, finishing with an impressive 67-908-6 line on 108 targets as the overall WR40 in half-PPR points per game. Weeks 2-11 with Joe Burrow under center before his torn ACL, Higgins was the WR25. (Higgins played just 15 snaps in Week 1 as a role player before entering the starting lineup in Week 2.) First-rounder Ja'Marr Chase is replacing A.J. Green's snaps and targets, but there should still be plenty of targets for Higgins and even Tyler Boyd in an offense that figures to throw the ball quite a bit and play fast. Higgins is currently being drafted as the WR25. Jun 16 3:03 pm (EST)
