Denzel Mims caught 1-of-2 targets for 15 yards in New York's Week 17 loss to the Patriots.
Mims' rookie year began (hamstring) and ended (concussion) with an injury as he mustered just nine appearances after being activated in Week 7. Although his final receiving line (23/357/0) won’t turn any heads, Mims showed potential as the team’s “X” receiver across from Breshad Perriman. All three of New York's starting wideouts (Jamison Crowder included) remain under contract for 2021 and are essentially guaranteed to be catching passes from a new quarterback while under a new head coach. That alone makes Mims, who showed an ability to haul in contested catches downfield, an intriguing mid-round selection for 2021 fantasy drafts. Jan 03 5:06 pm (EST)
