The only thing that is more exciting than playing a new fantasy game for the first time is playing a new fantasy game for the second time. I had a lot of fun trying PlaySqorr for the first time last week, and I am excited to take what I learned and apply it this week.

Last week, some of the FantasyAlarm family got together on Twitter to play a receiver card, in addition to the card I played in my inaugural PlaySqorr Playbook. This week, I’m going to take on the receivers in the Playbook. If you haven’t already, be sure to download the PlaySqorr app, which makes playing from your phone fun and easy. I’m planning on playing all six picks in this week’s Crucial Catch card, but one of the great things about PlaySqorr is that you don’t have to play every pick if you do not want to. If you are less confident in Davante Adams than I am, simply skip that pick and play the other five.

NFL Crucial Catch Week 14

Davante Adams Over 13 fantasy points

Adams has three touchdowns all season, and they came in the last two games. I think Adams is more likely to score a touchdown than anyone on Sunday’s slate, and if he does, he should top 13 fantasy points pretty easily.

DeAndre Hopkins Under 12.25 fantasy points

Like Davante Adams , this mostly comes down to whether or not Hopkins scores a touchdown. I hate betting against Hopkins, but Chris Harris and the Denver defense have been stingy against receivers all season.

Chris Godwin -0.25 vs. Tyreek Hill

I’ll admit it, I am afraid of the Patriots’ defense. Hill had 10.1 fantasy points his last time out, so we know he can be held down occasionally. Godwin has at least 13 fantasy points in four of his last five games and nine of his 12 games this season, and I’m hoping that will be enough to beat Hill.

Cooper Kupp -0.25 vs. Julian Edelman

Edelman has been super safe, with at least 13 fantasy points in eight straight games. Cupp has topped 13 fantasy points in just two of his last seven games. Kupp has a good matchup, and he showed early in the season that he has a huge ceiling, but Edelman has a good matchup and a high ceiling as well.

Stefon Diggs vs. D.J. Moore

Diggs has been held under 10 fantasy points in three of his five games without Adam Thielen . D.J. Moore has at least 17 fantasy points in 10 of his 12 games, including each of his last five. Diggs is capable of going off at any time, but Moore has been much more consistent this season.

Keenan Allen vs. DeVante Parker

Allen has at least 16 fantasy points in three straight games, and while Parker was great against Philadelphia last week, Parker has topped 16 fantasy points in just four games all season. I may be in the minority, but I just trust Allen more.
