Brooks Koepka has reportedly parted ways with his longtime swing coach, Claude Harmon III, with the split happening a few days after the 2020 Masters.

Eamon Lynch of Golfweek reported the news, getting the confirmation from Harmon during a post-win interview for another one of his clients, Si Woo Kim. Harmon told Golfweek, "I was informed on the Wednesday after the Masters that he wanted to go in a different direction." Koepka says he still considers Harmon family which could lead to a reunion at some point in their future. We saw Dustin Johnson split with CH3 last June but that split didn't last long. As for Koepka, he is 0-for-2 since parting ways with his longtime coach (missed cuts at Mayakoba and The American Express). He will look to get back on track this week as he preps for the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

Prior to the start of the event, Mark Hubbard has removed his name from the field at the Farmers Insurance Open. The next man up will be Jim Knous, earning his seat via sponsor's invite.

Hubbard started his year with a T32 at the Sony Open but swallowed a missed cut last week at The American Express. He made headlines with his putting grip coming down the stretch on Friday when he was already well outside the cutline. Hubbard pulled out a signature move which he calls "The Snail". He was originally slated to tee it up again this week at Torrey Pines but will now take a breather instead. He has played in two previous Farmers editions (T61/2015; MC/2016). Currently ranked 250th on TOUR in driving distance, skipping an appointment with the 7,765-yard South Course doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

Keegan Bradley has removed his name from the field, prior to the start of this week's Farmers Insurance Open. Matt Every will take his spot in the field.

Bradley missed the cut at the Sony Open and last week's American Express, finding himself slumping to start the new year. He lost 7 strokes putting at the Sony Open and another 2.5 strokes lost at PGA WEST (one round). Combined, that is -9.5 SGP over his last three measured rounds. Gamers should remove him from all weekly lineups and wait for his putter to heat up before reinvesting. That may be a long wait as he hasn't gained strokes putting in consecutive events since the 2019 Travelers Championship and 2019 3M Open.

Branden Grace lost his father to COVID-19 and will be sidelined for the foreseeable future as he takes some time away from golf to be with his family.

Grace provided the sad news on social media and this explains his WD last week ahead of The American Express. He also backed out of the upcoming Farmers Insurance Open and there is no timetable for his return, he just said "I will be taking some time off to be with family. Stay Safe." This time away could be a week or it could be a year. We will update when a return is planned.

Playing out of the penultimate threesome, World No. 97 Brian Harman backpedaled with a 1-under-par 37-34=71 in the final round of The American Express, falling three spots to a season-best T8 on 14-under 274, nine adrift of champion Si Woo Kim (64).

After kicking off with 68-68 (NT-SC) and 67, the 34-year-old began T5 on 13-under, two back of three tri-leaders at the top, including Kim. He found nine (of 14) fairways and 13 greens in regulation, gaining 0.319 strokes off-the-tee and 1.861 on approach, but losing 1.055 around-the-green. The Georgia alum squared three bogeys at holes 4, 6 and 13 (failed scrambles), slightly outpaced by four birdies at 7, 10, 11 and 12, each from inside of nine feet. He posted 1.692 putts per GIR and -1.506 SG: Putting, missing five putts from inside of 11 feet. For the week, the St. Simons Island, Georgia, resident totaled one eagle and 21 birdies against five bogeys and two doubles. This was his ninth AmEx and fifth top 25, five in his last six, and second top 10, joining a T3 four tries ago in 2017. Harman improves to 9-for-10 on the season with three top 25s, first since a T24 at the Houston Open four starts ago, and records his first top-10 finish since T3 at last season's Greenbrier 28 starts ago.

Playing out of the fifth-to-last threesome, World No. 27 Paul Casey fashioned a 3-under-par 34-35=69 in the final round of The American Express to wrap on 14-under 274, up five places to a season-best T8, nine shy of champion Si Woo Kim (64).

This was the AmEx ambassador's fifth appearance and second top 25, second straight after T21 last year where he was T9 after 54 holes (68-67-67-71). He improves to 5-for-6 on the season with two top 25s, bettering a T17 at the U.S. Open in his season-opener, and records his first top-10 finish since T2 at last season's PGA Championship nine starts ago. After kicking off with 72-65 (NT-SC) and 69, Rounds 2 and 3 bogey-free, the 43-year-old began T13 on 11-under, one short of the overnight top 10. On seven (of 14) fairways and 15 greens in regulation, he lost strokes off-the-tee (-0.825) and around-the-green (-0.385), but gained 3.009 on approach. The Arizona State product's lone blemish was double bogey-6 at hole 3, outpaced by five circles at 2, 5, 6, 8 and 10, each from inside of 11 feet. He registered 1.667 putts per GIR and -0.180 SG: Putting with 29 total putts, ending the week with one eagle and 16 birdies versus two bogeys and one double.

Playing out of the fifth-to-last threesome, World No. 77 Byeong Hun An authored a 3-under-par 34-35=69 in the final round of The American Express to finish up on 14-under 274, up five places to a season-best T8, nine adrift of countryman and champion Si Woo Kim (64).

This was the South Korean's second AmEx after a missed cut by five last year (70-72-70). He improves to 3-for-8 on the season with one top 25, bettering a T35 at the ZOZO @ SHERWOOD three starts ago, and records his first top 10 since T4 at last season's Honda 18 starts and 10 months ago. For the week, he carded rounds of 65-73- (NT-SC) 67-69, and totaled 21 birdies versus seven bogeys. On Sunday, he outpaced one bogey with four birdies on 10 (of 14) fairways and 11 greens in regulation, gaining 0.342 strokes off-the-tee and 2.606 on-the-green, but losing 1.260 on approach. The 29-year-old converted two scoring chances from between 14 and 21 feet, and also saved par three times from between six and nine feet.

Making his first start since a missed cut at the Masters 10 weeks ago and playing out of the fourth-to-last threesome, World No. 130 Francesco Molinari finished birdie-birdie toward a 2-under-par 34-36=70 in the final round of The American Express, good for a season-best T8 on 14-under 274, nine back of overnight tri-leader and champion Si Woo Kim (64).

This was the Los Angeles resident's fifth AmEx, third top 25 and second top 10, supplanting a prior-best T10 on debut in 2015. He improves to 2-for-4 on the season with two top 25s, joining a T15 two starts ago at the Houston Open, and records his first top-10 finish since T5 at the 2019 Masters 22 worldwide starts ago as the 54-hole leader by two (70-67-66-74). After opening with 69-66 (SC-NT) and bogey-free 69, the 38-year-old began T8, three back, and hit nine (of 14) fairways and 13 greens in regulation. He lost 1.013 strokes approaching but gained 0.608 off-the-tee and 0.766 around-the-green. The Italian penciled five birdies at holes 5, 7, 8, 17 (fringe-shot from 17'10") and 18 (from 50'0"), taking some gloss off with bogey-4 at 6 and double bogey-5 at 13 (watered tee ball). He eked out a 0.258 SG: Putting with 28 total putts, ending the week with 21 birdies against three bogeys and two doubles.
