MAPS:

*The first two ban maps for this match should include Overpass for HellRaisers and Vertigo for ex-ETHEREAL. The first maps chosen lately for these two teams includes Inferno for HellRaisers (both hold 50% success rate here over their last attempts), while Nuke has been the go-to for ex-ETHEREAL lately. (*NOTE – Mirage has been a good map for ex-ETHEREAL lately as they have a four-map winning streak there over their last 8 tries, HOWEVER – in the lone match above H2H HellRaisers did ban Mirage in that match).

*HellRaisers on Inferno (11 Maps): ProbLeM 1.12 Rating, 0.71 KPR, 1.07 IMP, 82.7 ADR. JlaYm 1.06, jR 0.99, kalinka 0.99, Flarich 0.98. On Nuke (6 Maps): JlaYm 1.09 Rating, 0.78 KPR, 1.37 IMP, 82.8 ADR. ProbLeM 1.07, jR 1.05, Flarich 0.95, kalinka 0.85.

ANALYSIS: I think we see a closer game here than the previous match these two teams played. Obviously, quite a bit of revenge narrative here for HellRaisers, but this won’t be a sweep in this one I don’t believe. The books are siding with the revenge narrative as well here as HellRaisers are the favorite at -170 on the money line. Should have noted above that the one-loss to Winstrike that ex-ETHEREAL sustained was a Grand Final match for the Dell Gaming League 2020 Event, so they are a pretty good team. Think we see a full 3-maps here.

Sinners (Ranked 65th in World) @ Project X (Ranked 64th in World)

Betting Odds: Sinners -220/Project X +165

Map Odds: 2.5 Over +100/Under -135

*This is a best of three match for the first round of the playoffs for this Event.

*Same as above – Sinners haven’t played since December 22nd, while Project X hasn’t played since the 28th of December.

*Sinners do come into this match with a smidge better recent form as they had won four of their prior matches, two by the sweep, and their one loss coming to Poland. Project X sustained two losses – an 0-2 reverse sweep to NaVi Jr., and a 1-2 loss to SKADE- but had won three of their prior four, including a Grand Final win in the Binance Super Cup 2020 Event over The Incas. (*NOTE – oskar has played less than five matches total for Sinners)

*Sinners For the Event: Oskar 1.48 Rating, NEOFRAG 1.32, ZEDKO 1.19, SHOCK 1.07, beastik 1.03.

*Project X For the Event: SENSEi 1.26 Rating, Sergiz 1.10, w0nderful 1.10, 7oX1C 0.95, Psycho 0.82.

*Sinners Over the Last Month of Play (7 Maps): oskar 1.48 Rating, NEOFRAG 1.32, ZEDKO 1.19, SHOCK 1.06, beastik 1.03.

*Project X Over the Last Month of Play (20 Maps): SENSEi 1.29 Rating, w0nderful 1.17, Sergiz 1.10, 7oXiC 0.97, Psycho 0.87.

H2H Data:

*These two teams have not played any recent Head-to-Head matches in recent memory.

MAPS:

*The first ban maps that should be selected for this match include Dust2 for Project X and Train for Sinners. The typical first maps chosen for these teams lately includes Vertigo for Sinners (Project X 5-map losing streak here as well, and Overpass for Project X.

*Sinners on Vertigo (6 Maps): ZEDKO 1.24 Rating, 0.74 KPR, 0.53 DPR, 1.11 IMP, 78.3 ADR. SHOCK 1.24 (0.63 DPR, but 0.80 KPR), NEOFRAG 1.15, beastik 1.03. On Overpass (3 Maps): beastik 1.31 Rating, 0.89 KPR, 1.21 IMP, 92.6 ADR. NEOFRAG 1.23, SHOCK 1.20, ZEDKO 1.09. (*NOTE – oskar has not played either of these maps over the L3 Months)

*Project X on Overpass (12 Maps): w0nderul (6 Maps): 1.30 Rating, 0.86 KPR, 1.12 IMP, 84.2 ADR. SENSEi 1.28 Rating, 0.75 KPR, 1.12 IMP, 79.5 ADR. Sergiz 1.26, Psycho 1.05, 7oXiC 1.01. On Vertigo (11 Maps): SENSEi 1.27 Rating, 0.79 KPR, 1.26 IMP, 76.7 ADR. Sergiz 1.13, w0nderul 1.11, 7oX1C 1.02, Pyscho 0.98.

ANALYSIS: Odds are pretty high here for the Sinners after they brought on the OG in oskar (He has been around the CSGO Scene for A LONG TIME), but the thing is here is that Project X had been playing pretty well before the break, also. W0nderful was a really nice grab for Project X here also, as we see his numbers on the projected map choices. I think we have two very close matches for this slate. I am not exactly 100% backing the favorites today.
