Welcome back, FANation! This is your Thursday “in case you missed them” waiver article! Monday high-lighted a ton of nice options brought to you by Mr. Malin, but of course, if you happened to have missed out, here are a few more options you can look to target for week 10!

QB

Nick Foles (14% (+10) YAHOO –6.9% (+5.1) ESPN)- Foles has already been named the starting QB once again for week 11, as he returns from a significant injury that side-lined him after week 1. It is the end of the Minshew-mania, but he will always have a special place in our hearts. Seeing as how this is week 10, the Jaguars do have a bye this week. This play is merely for a bye week replacement for week 11, or if you need a solid back-up in a one QB league, or if you are needing a QB2 in a 2-QB league. Next week, Foles and the Jags will travel to Indy to play the Colts on Sunday afternoon.

Ryan Finley (3% (+1) YAHOO – 1.6% (+1.1) ESPN)- Finley and the Bengals had their bye week last week in week 9, and now will play host to the Baltimore Ravens in week 10. This will not be the best match up on the board; however, if you are in a bind, and you need a spot start, it seems that Finley could be your only way to go. On a bright note however, Finley will have one more weapon to use at his disposal, as it seems stud WR A.J. Green will make his season debut in week 10. This could easily put a jolt into this Bengal’s offense, who after week 8, decided to bench starting long-termer QB Andy Dalton .

RB

Ty Johnson (36% (-4) YAHOO – 41.7 (-15.2) ESPN)- Lots of droppage going on here for Ty Johnson, and for good reason. This Lions are really not running the ball near as much as they were with Kerryon Johnson as the starter. Matt Stafford is throwing the ball all over the field, and it is winning them ball games, so why change now? Either way, the wire is thin at the RB spot, and Ty is still the starting RB going into week 10. He led the backfield in touches in last week’s loss to the Raiders in Oakland with nine overall. He was also targeted three times in the passing game, catching all three for only 7 yards. He didn’t get much going, and it was McKissic who showed more production fantasy-wise.  This week actually gets slightly worse, as the Lions travel to Soldier Field to take on the Bears. If you have to have a starter, that’s about all you will get here with Ty Johnson.

Trey Edmunds (2% (+1) YAHOO – 14.7 (+4.1) ESPN)- With James Conner still limited in practice, who knows what his status will be on Sunday. It seems like we keep watching the same show, as Conner doesn’t practice all week, ends up playing, gets hurt again in said game, and then rinse, repeat. Well, it is once again, a status to monitor. If for some reason Conner cannot go, it would slot Jaylen Samuels as the lead, and Edmunds would once again be the direct back-up. If you did not see, Edmunds was decently productive last week in that role, as he out-carried starter Samuels 12 to 8, also putting 73 yards total on the ground. Did not hit pay-dirt, but the volume was encouraging. Watch Conner’s status.

Myles Gaskin (0% (+0) YAHOO – 0.2% (+0.1) ESPN)- This is a straight stash play, as Gaskin could eventually get a decently nice role behind starting 3-down back, Kalen Ballage . If you have been watching any Miami Dolphin football, or just high-lights of their games, you would notice you don’t see much Ballage. That’s because he is not good at the football. Gaskin could work his way into a lead-role if given the opportunity with how bad Ballage has been this season. One to monitor, and if you have the extra spot open, go ahead and stash for now.

WR

Josh Reynolds (5% (+4) YAHOO – 3.2% (+2.5) ESPN)- Reynolds will see lots of time as long as Brandon Cooks stays on the side-lines with his multiple concussions. It has gotten to the point where they may as well shut Cooks down to be honest. Either way, in Week 8 (bye week last week), Reynolds stepped in nicely against the Bengals, catching three of his EIGHT targets for 73 yards and one score. He was the only other pass-catcher for the Rams to have more than three targets on the day, while second to only Cooper Kupp , who had 10 targets on the day. The Rams will travel to Heinz Field on Sunday afternoon to take on the Steelers, where Reynolds could be heavily involved once again, as Cooks has already been ruled out.

Alan Lazard (9% (+1) YAHOO – 4.4% (+1.5) ESPN)- Lazard is still hanging around in this Green Bay offense. H was able to catch three balls on four targets in week nine’s loss in Los Angeles to the Chargers. Lazard now has 18 targets on the year total, and has caught 15 of them for an efficient catch rate, however, with the return of Devante Adams, it could become scarce for him to see targets. It is worth noting, Lazard actually had double the targets than both starting WRs Geronimo Allison (2), and Marques Valdes-Scantling (2), in that loss to the Chargers.

Laquan Treadwell (0% (+0) YAHOO – 0.1 (+0.1) ESPN)- With Adam Theilen still dealing with a hamstring injury that took him out of the game last week after just one series, it allowed for someone else to step-up for the Vikes against the Chiefs. Treadwell led all WRs on the day with a medium five targets, where he caught three of those for 58 yards total on the day. Treadwell is highly inconsistent, but if you find yourself in a bind, and Theilen doesn’t suit up on Sunday, the Vikings play the Cowboys this week inside a dome. This is a last-ditch effort type play, but it seems that he and starting QB Kirk Cousins were on the same page last week.

TE

Jacob Hollister (4% (+4) YAHOO –2.6% (+2.4) ESPN)- The Seahawks (more so, Russell Wilson ) always seem to make whatever TE that they have on the roster look like a touchdown machine. Last week, it was Jacob Hollister . Hollister caught four of his six targets for a mere 37 yards, but the more important part was the he also found the end-zone TWICE. Hollister was a nice fill-in TE for the Pats last season, and looks like he may be a nice fill-in once again here for the Hawks, while Dissly is out for the season. Luke Willson was also targeted in this one, but only saw two on the day, with none going for a TD.

Kyle Rudolph (31% (+1) YAHOO – 28.4% (+2.3) ESPN)- Just when you want to quit on Rudy again, he goes and gets you his 2nd touchdown in three weeks. He hasn’t seen the high volume you would like, but he has seen at least three targets or more in those three games, with catching those two touchdowns. He is, and always will be, a big red-zone threat for QB Kirk Cousins , and it wouldn’t shock me one bit if they continue to hook-up in the end zone a few more times this season.

D/ST

New York Giants- The Giants, interestingly enough, were the highest added D/ST of what was left on the wire for this Thursday article, and to be quite honest, I don’t actually hate it. The Giants travel to MetLife Stadium to take on a Jets team that not been good, even with the return of starting QB Sam Darnold . They reeled off a home win against the Cowboys with his return, and since then, notta. Their offense is simply nothing to write home about, and the Giants D/ST could have decent success here. Before last week’s three-point fantasy point performance for the Giants D/ST, they had posted three-straight games of 8, 10, and 12 fantasy point efforts. I will look for them to get back on track here against a bad Jets team.

Kansas City Chiefs- Oddly enough, the Chiefs D/ST was available in a 12-team YAHOO league I am in. I was decently shocked. The Chiefs defense has been good. Nearing top-10 in quite a few defensive DVOA categories. This week, they travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans, who have allowed the MOST sacks in the NFL through nine weeks at 38. If you need a stream, I like the Chiefs this week.
