Player Breakdowns:

MVP/CPT

1.) Devin Booker SG (PHO) $15,900 –

Booker has been shooting extremely well lately and it has led to four of his last five games reaching at least 44 or more fantasy points, with three over 51 to boot. Booker has widely led the team in usage over their last five contests at a hefty 34.0% usage rate, with the next closest being Chris Paul at just 20.8%. His production has been stellar lately and he has one of the higher floors on this slate.

2.) Rudy Gobert C (UTA) $13,500 –

I think Rudy has quite a bit of value in on this slate at his cheaper price as a MVP/CPT. The lone time these two teams played earlier this season, Gobert poured in 18 points, while grabbing 14 rebounds, with a block and a steal. One point of emphasis on exploiting this Sun’s defense is easily down-low and I think Rudy can once again have some success here tonight.

MID-TIER

1.) Donovan Mitchell PG/SG (UTA) $10,000 –

I get Mitchell isn’t exactly mid-tier, but there’s not just a ton of combos for Utah without having him in the gist of it, so it essential to have him here. Mitchell is carrying a 31.7% usage rate for his last five games, while also eclipsing 37 or more fantasy points in eight of his last 10 contests played. In the lone meeting earlier this season, Mitchell scored 23 actual, grabbed six boards, dished three dimes and had one steal spread over 36 minutes of action with a 33. 8% usage rate.

2.) Chris Paul PG (PHO) $9,800 –

CP3 is still getting it done on both ends of the floor this season and has topped 46 fantasy points in his last three-straight games. He is fresh off a 52-fantasy point effort against the Rockets where he scored 19 points, pulled down five boards, dished 11 dimes, and stole four balls in 35 minutes of action. He is carrying a modest 20.8% usage over his last five games as mentioned above and he will have lots of opportunities tonight.

3.) Jordan Clarkson PG/SG (UTA) $7,200 –

Clarkson is the first reserve off the bench for this Jazz team and he is arguably the top sixth-man in the League. Clarkson actually leads the team in usage over the last five games at a whopping 32.4% and we know he is going to take his shots as soon as his toes touch the floor. He has generally carried a consistent floor of around 20-25 fantasy points all season long in his role, but we have also seen numerous occasions where he has flashed 35-fantasy point upside.

DARTS

1.) Jae Crowder PF (PHO) $5,200 –

Crowder’s minutes have been a bit sporadic lately, but he is still producing mildly with the minutes that he is receiving. He has recorded at least 22 or more fantasy points in seven of his last nine games played and has played at least 27 or more minutes in 11 of his last 12, as well. He is a solid target to help fill the roster and can also allow you to save a bit of salary.

2.) Cameron Johnson SF/PF (PHO) $3,600 –

Johnson is about as low as I would like to go as the cheapest punt on the slate. Johnson is one of the first players off the bench for the Suns and has played 18 or more minutes in his last eight-straight contests. He has topped 20 fantasy points in his last two games, while scoring in double-figures, averaging 3.0 rebounds, 0.5 assist, and 1.0 steals per game. He has the ability to contribute in multiple categories, and this can easily set a decent ceiling at his price.
