Today's fastbreak is contingent on some injury news breaking in LAC. We're unsure if Paul George is going to sit out for a second straight outing. We saw both Kawhi Leonard and Patrick Beverley blow up with George out on Tuesday and that's entirely possible again on Wednesday with a match-up against the Warriors and their frantic pace of play that will maximize the Clippers offensive possessions.

Another large piece of news we're waiting on is the status of Christian Wood . If Wood sits, what does HOU do in the front court? Do they turn to DeMarcus Cousins who has done little to nothing since coming off the COVID list? Or do they rely on guys like P.J. Tucker and Jae'Sean Tate in the front-court.

Things we do know:

  • John Wall leads in USG (38.3%) when Wood is off the floor --> 27 minute sample. Harden's USG is 36%.
  • Eric Gordon averages a team-high 1.41 FP/min w/o Wood on the floor as well.

There are some players I love for cash games in my fast break today: Kawhi Leonard , Ben Simmons , Giannis Antetokounmpo , De'Andre Hunter Kelly Olynyk

There are also some guys I love in tournaments (GPP's) in the breakdown below: Lonzo Ball , LaMelo BallChris Boucher

When playing tournaments just remember; you can play guys labeled as cash plays if you'd like, everything isn't always set in stone. I'd limit exposure to GPP guys in cash because they're more risky, however.

I think it is important when approaching big slates such as these that you whittle down your player pool. What I mean is that you axe a game or two, maybe even three from existance and essentially make it an 8-9 game slate. Each slate always has a few unappealing games anyways, so make it easier on yourself when sifting through all of the players we have at our disposal.
