Below are game breakdowns for Friday’s three-game DFS NHL slate followed by example lineups.

Florida @ Buffalo

The Florida Panthers are on the road as they make the trip to face the Buffalo Sabres Friday night. Florida was dumped 6-3 at home by Carolina in their last game on Tuesday night. Buffalo picked up a 5-4 overtime victory at home over Montreal Wednesday night in their last contest.  This maybe a tough night for the Panthers, who haven’t looked good on the blue line so far and goalie Sergei Bobrovsky was brutal in just one period of action against the Hurricanes in their last outing. Buffalos Eichel, Skinner and Johansson haves been extremely dangerous so far and Olofsson has brought a spark to the power play unit. The Sabers have the advantage tonight, especially playing at home.

Anaheim @ Columbus

Columbus was beaten handily in each of their first two games of the season but managed to earn their first victory of the season by taking down the Sabres in overtime Monday night. The Blue Jackets have had three days off in between games, which gives them a huge rest advantage. The Ducks are coming off a 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh last night and are 2-6 in their last 8 games playing on 0 days of rest.  Anaheim winger Rickard Rakell, who had three shots and no points in the first two games, recorded a goal in Tuesday's win at Detroit and had eight shots against Pittsburgh. The Blue Jackets starting goaltender Joonas Korpisalo struggled in the crease as he recorded 15 saves which pushes his save percentage to .851 on the season

NY Islanders @ Carolina

The Hurricanes have a chance to notch the best start in franchise history on Friday, when they host the New York Islanders in a matchup of Metropolitan Division rivals and a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference semifinal. I like stacking the Canes first line of  Aho, Niederreiter and Teravainen in any format tonight. Carolina will hand the reins back over to 27-year-old Petr Mrazek for Tuesday’s contest versus the Islanders. Mrazek stopped only 10 of 13 shots in his last start versus the Tampa Bay Lightning, but still escaped with a win. In two starts, he is 2-0-0 with a 2.84 GAA and .878 save percentage.
