Changes since the Playbook was posted early this morning:

  • Gabriel Landeskog was on the second line in morning skate, and he’s not worth paying for off MacKinnon’s line. Andre Burakovsky will take his spot and is viable on FD (too expensive on DK).
  • Anton Khudobin will start for Dallas. Ben Bishop was mentioned as a cash alternative on DK in the Playbook, and that applies to Khudobin as well.
  • Devan Dubnyk was mentioned as a GPP option on FD, but Alex Stalock will start tonight and is not as cheap on FD. Instead, you could go with Sam Montembeault who will start for Florida against a New Jersey team that is bottom 10 in goals per game.
  • This possibility was discussed in the Playbook, but Darcy Kuemper won’t go for Arizona tonight, so third-stringer Adin Hill will start. That improves the matchup for the heavily favored Leafs.
  • Speaking of the Leafs, Frederik Andersen will not return tonight and will not dress. Jack Campbell gets the start.
  • Still speaking of the Leafs, they had an optional morning skate tonight, so it’s still not clear who plays tonight. John Tavares and Zach Hyman are GTDs, and William Nylander should be back after missing two games, but that is not confirmed.
  • The over/under for the Buffalo game slipped to 5.5 goals, so we might be more inclined to pay for Tavares or Auston Matthews or even Mitch Marner instead of rostering Jack Eichel.
