T. Montgomery - RB
Saints placed RB Ty Montgomery on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
The gadget player has three touches through two games. Health has always been a concern for the running back/receiver hybrid. He will be eligible to return in Week 7 against the Panthers.

J. Uche - LB
Patriots placed LB Josh Uche on injured reserve with a foot injury.
A healthy scratch in Week 1, Uche missed Week 2 with an ankle ailment. He then injured his foot in practice this week. That all adds up to a rookie season that is suddenly in danger of being lost.

D. Andrews - C
Patriots placed C David Andrews on injured reserve with a thumb injury.
Andrews had surgery to repair a broken thumb, and the potential "solution" of snapping with his left hand was never realistic. Andrews, who looked like his normal self in Weeks 1 and 2 after missing all of 2019 with blood clots, will now be sidelined until at least Week 7 vs. the 49ers. There is a bye week in there, so Andrews should hopefully be ready to go after missing only three games. Hjalte Froholdt seems to be the next man up at the pivot. James Ferentz is another option. It's far from ideal news for Cam Newton, though hardly a run-game derailer.

J. Jones - DL
Chargers placed DT Justin Jones on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
Jones will now be sidelined until at least Week 6 against the Jets. Jones started Weeks 1 and 2 but was forced to depart after 20 snaps vs. the Chiefs. His injury comes at the same time Melvin Ingram (knee) was placed on the shelf. It's a blow for the Chargers' run defense.

M. Ingram - DL
Chargers placed DE Melvin Ingram on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Ingram will now miss at least the next three games after getting injured in practice this week. It's a big blow for a Chargers defense that has looked dominant through two games, and a return to the early days of Ingram's career, where he had trouble staying in the field. Ingram missed three games with a 2019 hamstring issue but had previously not missed a contest since 2014. Hopefully Ingram is ready to return when first eligible in Week 6 vs. the lowly Jets.

C. Ward - DB
Chiefs CB Charvarius Ward (broken hand) is questionable for Week 3 against the Ravens.
Ward was injured in Week 1 and sat out last Sunday's narrow overtime win vs. the Chargers. The Chiefs' secondary was not impressive against Justin Herbert, who was making his first career start on literally a moment's notice. Ward's return would provide a boost vs. Lamar Jackson and company. He got in three limited practices this week, so he would seem to be genuinely questionable.

Chiefs RB Darrel Williams (ankle) has been removed from the Week 3 injury report.
Williams is good to go for Monday evening's potential shootout with the Ravens, though his role is uncertain. Clyde Edwards-Helaire struggled with Week 1 goal-line duties, but Week 2 was inconclusive for the Chiefs' backfield inside the five. Williams ceded snaps to Darwin Thompson after departing vs. the Chargers. There's a chance he gets to serve as a short-yardage caddie in Baltimore, but that's too flimsy to plug Williams in as a FLEX.

Sammy Watkins (concussion, neck) is questionable for Week 3 against the Ravens.
"We'll just monitor him as we go and see how he does," coach Andy Reid said. Watkins was upgraded to "full" for Saturday's practice, so his odds of suiting up for the Chiefs' likely Monday night shootout with the Ravens are looking good. Dynamite in Week 1, Watkins was quieter in Week 2. Coming off injury against an elite secondary, Watkins belongs on the WR3/4 borderline for Week 3.
