He tied a season-high with 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting with a 3-pointer in the Lakers' loss. It was a nice game for the defensively-minded guard who had totaled just six points in the three previous games. And with Dennis Schroder out for at least one more game, Caruso might a fun streaming gamble on Wednesday vs. the NBA's best team, the Utah Jazz.

The Pistons and Blake Griffin are expected to work towards a contract buyout, according to James Edwards III of The Athletic.

Griffin has not appeared in a game since February 12, and unless there's some shocking development he will not suit up for the Pistons again. Given the medical history and the amount of money remaining on Griffin's contract, finding a trade partner will likely be difficult for Pistons GM Troy Weaver. Once his contract situation is settled, Griffin could be an attractive pickup for a playoff contender that won't have to call on him to log heavy minutes.

The Timberwolves have expressed interest in acquiring Aaron Gordon, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Per the report, there were "substantive" conversations between the teams, but that was before Gordon went down with a severely sprained left ankle in late-January. At the time of the injury, it was reported that he would sit for anywhere from four to six weeks. Conversations between the Magic and Timberwolves front offices could pick back up once he gets closer to a return. Playing alongside Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell (once he's healthy) would likely mean fewer playmaking opportunities for Gordon, who served as Orlando's second unit playmaker when the team was hit hard by injuries at point guard, thus lowering his fantasy value.

Kerr said that Oubre's fall was "pretty scary," but added that Oubre is "sore more than anything." Considering it's an actual injury, there's a chance that he'll need to skip Thursday's game in Phoenix as well, which would likely result in another start for Kent Bazemore. Stay tuned.

This is what Kanter does, and as long as Jusuf Nurkic (wrist) is out, he'll be posting mid-round value with plenty of double-doubles. Carmelo Anthony kept his hot streak going in 32 minutes off the bench, going 8-of-13 from the field and 4-of-5 from the stripe for 22 points, two rebounds, four assists, two triples and one turnover in the win.

Robert Covington had another good game on Wednesday, registering 15 points (5-of-12 FG, 2-of-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, three triples, two steals and three swats across 38 turnover-less minutes in a win over the Warriors.

This is just the second time this season that Covington has recorded double-figures in the scoring department in back-to-back games, and if he's able to do it again on Thursday vs. Sacramento, that'll be the first time this year he's scored over nine points in three consecutive games. While the scoring has been frustratingly inconsistent from RoCo this season, he's managed to keep his value afloat in the mid-rounds thanks to his triples (1.3), steals (1.6) and swats (1.1), and if the scoring ever comes around that would help catapult him to top-40 status.

He's been a mid-round stud since entering the starting unit, and with C.J. McCollum (foot) still not close, he should be rostered in more than just 60% of Yahoo! Leagues.

Buddy Hield played through his sprained ankle on Wednesday and hit 11-of-15 shots and seven 3-pointers for 29 points, six rebounds, six assists and a steal with zero turnovers in a whopping season-high 42 minutes of a 123-120 win over the Lakers.

Wow. We didn't even know if Hield would play tonight but he told his coach he wanted to go and had one of his best games of the season. Buddy is on fire right now and scored 30 points with eight 3-pointers in his previous game on Sunday. It's hard to believe he didn't score a point in the first quarter tonight, but he and De'Aaron Fox combined to go 0-for-6 in the opening stanza, but both bounced back once the second quarter got underway. Hield has gone through some weird streaks this season but is in the zone right now, averaging 29.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 7.5 3-pointers over his last two games, hitting 21-of-32 shots over that stretch. Hopefully, he can keep it going against the Blazers on Thursday night before heading into the All-Star break.

De'Aaron Fox hit 9-of-18 shots and a 3-pointer for 23 points, eight assists, three steals and seven turnovers before fouling out of Wednesday's 123-120 win over the Lakers.

Fox had a pretty good game after being held scoreless in the first quarter and while the turnovers and foul out are a bit of a buzzkill, he helped get his team a big win and will try to do it again on Thursday against the Blazers before heading into the All-Star break. Hopefully, the turnovers will disappear tomorrow and he'll be able to stay out of foul trouble against Damian Lillard.

Damian Lillard threw daggers in the Warriors with clutch buckets down the stretch of Wednesday's 108-106 win, finishing with 22 points, five boards, six dimes, three triples, two steals and five turnovers in 36 minutes.

Lillard had a tough time getting his shot to fall for much of the game (6-of-17 FG, 7-of-8 FT), but he came through when it mattered most, drilling a clutch triple late in the fourth to tie up the game — and then he hit a dagger 3 with 13.7 seconds left to put them up for good. Montrezl Harrell came off the bench to hit 13-of-22 shots for 26 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, one block and eight offensive rebounds in 33 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Kings.

The 26 points tied his season high and the 13 boards were one shy of it and Harrell looked fantastic without LeBron James or Anthony Davis on the court. The Lakers will limp into the break with two straight losses and losses in six of their last eight games, and are now just the No. 4 seed in the West. LeBron, AD and company will now get to rest, outside of the All-Star Game on Saturday, and won't play again until they'll see the Pacers on Friday, March 12. Harrell took a shot to the face and got banged up a little tonight, but should be fine when play resumes next Friday.
