Hassan Whiteside has reportedly agreed to a one-year deal with the Kings.

Sacramento essentially devolved into the only place that made sense for Whiteside, as he wanted to play for a team that would give him a prominent starting role, but his addition to the Kings’ roster absolutely destroys Richaun Holmes’ fantasy outlook. Whiteside was a first-round product last year while earning 30 minutes a night in Portland, but he might be more in the mid-to-high-20s range in Sacramento with more competition for minutes at the five-spot, so it could be tough for him to meet first-round expectations. However, as he’s shown in the past, he only needs minutes in the mid-20s to produce top-40 value, so he's back in the conversation as an early-round option.

Holiday was 'probable' on the injury report and there's been no suggestion that the ankle ailment will linger, so consider him good to go for the Bucks' upcoming four-game week. Prior to the game he earned high praise from Giannis Antetokounmpo, who said, "I knew [Holiday] was really good, but every day I play with him, I realize how good a person he is, good a teammate he is, and how much better he is than what I thought." The Bucks are hoping that translates to postseason success, while fantasy managers are hoping Holiday's chemistry with his new teammates continues to grow. He's already posting early-round numbers in a modest 31.5 minutes per game, thanks largely to his 2.2 steals per game.

Lopez helped the Bucks win their fourth straight game, and their seventh in the past eight. He's also helping fantasy managers lock up the blocks category with 2.0 swats per game in January, to go along with reliable 3-pointers. The boards are an unexpected bonus, as he's grabbed 11 in consecutive games after being held to single digits in every prior game this season. In fact, the last time BroLo had double-digit boards in consecutive games was in February 2016. Savor this moment.

Cedi Osman scored a season-high 25 points (10-of-20 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs) vs. the Knicks on Friday to go with five assists, three rebounds, two steals, five triples and three turnovers in 40 minutes.

Cleveland has several guys out including their starting backcourt of Darius Garland (shoulder) and Collin Sexton (ankle), so Osman has been getting a ton of burn with at least 31 minutes in seven straight games. Osman turned some heads tonight, but has only been an 11th-round value in that span with 14.7 points, 5.4 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 2.4 triples on 36% shooting. He's going to be dumped to the waiver wire when the reinforcements show up, but in the meantime he's getting the job done as a streamer.

Larry Nance Jr. had a gem of a line vs. the Knicks on Friday with 14 points (6-of-10 FGs), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block, two triples and four turnovers in 44 minutes.

He was all over the place tonight but his fantasy managers already know all about that as Nance has raced out to a top-45 pace in 9-cat with 10.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 dimes, 2.4 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.6 triples. The front court is about to get more crowded in Cleveland after they acquired Jarrett Allen from Brooklyn, but Nance hasn't logged any of his minutes as a center this season so hopefully it doesn't impact him too much. We're still expecting big things from Nance, especially with Kevin Love (calf) still on the shelf.

Andre Drummond had a field day in a 106-103 win over the Knicks on Friday, scoring a season-high 33 points (10-of-18 FGs, 13-of-19 FTs) with 23 rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and two turnovers in 40 minutes.

Good grief. That’s his 43rd game with a 20/20 line as Drummond moves past Hakeem Olajuwon for the third most such games in NBA history. This was also the first 30-point, 20-rebound game for the Cavaliers since Carlos Boozer did it back in 2004. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Cavs divvy up the frontcourt minutes when Jarrett Allen is cleared next game, but GM Koby Altman said he told Drummond on Thursday that his role stays the same and that he can help Allen. While Drummond is likely to keep his job, it’s probably fair to expect at least a slight dip in workload.
