Derrick Favors is expecting to come off the bench in his second stint with the Jazz.

Before leaving for New Orleans this past season, Favors had spent the past four years starting alongside Rudy Gobert in Utah, but that pairing struggled to adjust to the modern NBA and became a bit clunky overtime. Favors is a bit too slow now to be able to effectively guard most modern PFs, so he'll primarily be backing up Gobert this season, although the two should still share the floor at times. Gobert averaged a career-high 34.3 minutes per game last season, but with Favors back in the mix, that number might trend towards the lower 30s. As for Favors, he said he's expecting around 24-25 minutes a night, and if that's the case, he could provide some low-end value.

Myles Turner (sore right hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Clippers.

Turner played 37 minutes in Thursday's win over the Blazers, but the two days in between games isn't enough to get him on the court Sunday night. Indiana will have another two days before it plays again Wednesday night, and the hope is that he will be available to play then. Look for Domantas Sabonis' already-high usage to increase, and if he's cleared, JaKarr Sampson (sore back) stands to pick up a few more minutes.
