The family members of four people who died in the January helicopter crash that also claimed the lives of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Island Express Helicopters and its owner.

Bryant's widow Vanessa filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the company and its owner, Island Express Holding Corp., back in February. However in her suit the pilot of the helicopter, Ara Zobayan, was also listed as a defendant. That is not the case in the suits filed on Monday. The plaintiffs in the new lawsuits are two children of John Altobelli, who along with his wife Keri and their daughter Alyssa passed away in the crash, and the husband and three children of Christian Mauser.

Coming into today's matchup, Hood had compiled a total of 18 points through his first 11 games of the season, but he made the most of the increased opportunity and opened today's game by draining his first four buckets. Unfortunately, Portland lost the game by 21 points and Hood's plus/minus rating of minus-13 ranked the worst amongst the Trail Blazers starters, so it'll be interesting to see if he gets another start on Wednesday vs. Memphis.

Williams has stiffness in his hip and is officially listed as questionable. The Bulls are already short-handed without Otto Porter, and if Williams can't give it a go, expect more opportunity for Garrett Temple. Temple is coming off a hot game, scoring 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting with three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block. He's a great fill-in choice if Williams can't run.

Lillard added three triples, three rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and an unfortunate five turnovers in his 36 minutes of floor time, and with both C.J. McCollum (foot) and Jusuf Nurkic (wrist) unavailable, Dame saw his usage rate spike to 38.4 (up from 29.4). He was just named the Western Conference Player of the Week, and he should have some monster stat lines coming, with McCollum set to miss the remaining three games for Portland of Week 5.

Mills was hot from the jump, drilling his first four shots while going 3-of-3 from distance, and he finished the game on 8-of-11 shooting without committing a single turnover. He's been flirting with late-round value in 9-cat leagues this season behind averages of 14.7 points, 3.1 treys, 3.1 dimes and just 0.8 turnovers per game on 47.4% shooting, so give him a look if those numbers are appealing.

Murray did an excellent job of running the offense today, dishing out nine dimes before committing his first (and only) turnover, and he also did a nice job of making things difficult for Damian Lillard. Murray led the starters in plus/minus with a rating of plus-14, but Keldon Johnson had a team-worst plus/minus rating of minus-two and finished with 10 points, four rebounds, one assist, one 3-pointer and two turnovers in 25 minutes.

DeRozan was uber-efficient in this one, going 6-of-9 from the field and 8-of-8 from the charity stripe, and he added six rebounds, two steals and four turnovers in his 32 minutes of floor time. The Spurs have now won six of their past eight games, and they currently hold the No. 5 seed out West. They missed the postseason last year which had some folks concerned about management potentially blowing up the roster, but that will be an unfounded fear as long as the Spurs are competitive for a playoff spot.

Aldridge was coming off a disastrous four-point performance, but he got things back on track today, with a season-high 18 of his 22 points coming in the mid-range. He only attempted one 3-point shot in this one (which he missed), and abandoning the idea of trying to turn himself into a stretch five may be the key to him turning things around after a very slow start to the year. He's attempting a career-high 4.0 triples per game this season, but he's only been connecting on 27.5% of those attempts.
