John Klingberg notched a goal and an assist in Tuesday night’s 2-1 overtime win over the Detroit Red Wings.
Klingberg looked really good in what was a boring game from an offensive perspective on Tuesday night. Denis Gurianov fed the puck over to Klingberg off of Joe Pavelski’s faceoff win, and the 28-year-old defenseman wired a wrister from the point past Thomas Greiss to get Dallas on the board. In overtime, Klingberg made a beautiful toe-drag move to create some space for himself in the offensive zone and then found Jason Dickinson who ripped the puck past Thomas Greiss to give the Stars the victory. Klingberg had just about as good as a night a fantasy GM could ask for, finishing the night with a plus-1 rating and two shots on goal in 22:55 of ice time on top of his two point performance. Klingberg now has one goal and four assists in three games. Yesterday 12:05 am (EST)
