Joel Eriksson Ek picked up a goal and an assist in Friday's 4-1 win over the San Jose Sharks.
Eriksson Ek has put together back-to-back two-point performances for the Wild. He opened the scoring five minutes into the first period and he added the primary helper on Jordan Greenway's empty-net goal (4-1) in the third frame. The 23-year-old finished the game with a plus-2 rating and four shots on goal in 19:27 of ice time. Eriksson Ek has been a reliable offensive producer for the Wild early on in 2021 and it'll be interesting to see if he can keep it up. He has three goals and five points in five games this season.
