Ronald Jones rushed 13 times for 34 yards and one score in Tampa Bay's Week 7 win over the Raiders.
Jones punched in a one-yard touchdown to give the Bucs a comfortable 37-20 lead in the fourth quarter, but the story on the afternoon was Leonard Fournette's team-high 17 touches in his first game back from injury. All 14 of Jones' touches (including his only catch) came on 1st- and 2nd-down whereas Fournette was the team's only running back to record either a 3rd-down touch or catch in the two-minute drill. And for those thinking this was merely a product of what appears to be a blowout, think again: 10 of Fournette's touches occurred in the first half. Jones, even after recording 100 rushing yards in three consecutive games, is clearly in a timeshare moving forward. He'll be ranked as a RB2 for that reason in Week 8 against the Giants.
