Jets placed RB Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) on injured reserve.
The report is via NFL Network's Kim Jones. As we know by now, Bell will be eligible to return in three weeks. In Bell's case, that will be Week 5 vs. Arizona. Frank Gore will be the "first man up" in Bell's absence, but it was actually Josh Adams who appeared to be Gang Green's lead back following Bell's injury. Lamical Perine is also due back soon from his ankle injury. Basically, it is a situation to avoid against the 49ers this week, though Gore is probably still the best FLEX dart throw. Even though it will not feel good, Bell should be held onto in 10-12 team re-draft leagues. Sep 15 4:14 pm (EST)
