Chargers restructured LB Denzel Perryman's contract.
Perryman took a pay cut to remain on the team. He was due $6 million in 2020, but he'll now have to earn that figure with incentives per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The 28-year-old will have more responsibilities this upcoming season with the Chargers opting to move on from LB Thomas Davis. Mar 13 3:15 pm (EST)
- Perryman posted 68 tackles (50 solo), one interception and one forced fumble over 14 games of the 2019 season.
- Perryman won't face additional discipline from the team and will be able to play Sunday against the Vikings, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
