2023 Player Outlook

Despite dazzling everyone with his quads year after year, AJ Dillon has never broken out as a legitimate fantasy running back. Last year, he finished as RB33 in fantasy points per game, which is fine, but it feels very vanilla. However, this season, with Jordan Love at the helm, Matt LaFleur could opt to run the ball more than he ever has in the past, and if he does, Dillon may finally get that breakout season we've all been hoping for. His target volume ranked 24th among running backs last season and could also make him a sneaky PPR asset if Jordan Love needs to check the ball down to avoid bad situations.
