J. Harden - SG
Harden finished with 50 points (14-26 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 18-19 FT), 11 assists, 10 rebounds, and two steals in 36 minutes during Thursday's 126-111 victory over the Lakers.
Harden was a one-man wrecking crew Thursday, putting up his third triple-double of the season in spectacular fashion. What makes this line even more amazing is that fact that none of his numbers were season-high marks. The best we can offer was that his 19 free-throw attempts matched his season-high from three weeks ago. Harden is going to be in the discussion for the number one overall player again this season and of course, there is no reason to sell high.

D. Smith Jr. - PG
Smith (wrist) will take the court Thursday against Phoenix, Mavericks radio play-by-play broadcaster Chuck Cooperstein reports.
Smith will return to game action after missing four matchups with a wrist injury. He'll presumably regain his role as the starting point guard, pushing Jalen Brunson back to the bench.

J. Barea - PG
Barea (ankle) is unavailable for Thursday's game against the Suns, Mavericks radio play-by-play broadcaster Chuck Cooperstein reports.
Barea was listed as a game-time decision leading up to Thursday's tip, but his injured left ankle evidently doesn't feel healthy enough to give it a go. Devin Harris could see more minutes off the bench as a result.

D. Nowitzki - PF
Nowitzki is set to make his season debut Thursday against the Suns but will have his minutes limited, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Nowitzki will be available off the bench for the first time all year following ankle surgery. Given his long layoff, the 40-year-old isn't expected to log many minutes in Phoenix.

J. Parker - SF
Parker is expected to play Thursday against Orlando with Chandler Hutchison (illness) out, but he won't see everyday minutes past Thursday, ESPN's Malika Andrews reports.
This is a surprising development, especially given Parker's recent two-year, $40 million contract that he signed with the Bulls over this past offseason. He's averaged 24.5 minutes along with 10.8 points per contest over his previous four games but will no longer receive regular minutes following Thursday's matchup. Bobby Portis and Kris Dunn could be in line for an uptick in minutes as a result.

G. Dragic - PG
Dragic (knee) will miss Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Dragic is set to miss his second consecutive matchup with right knee soreness. Tyler Johnson drew the start in Tuesday's matchup and could do so again Friday in Dragic's absence. His next opportunity to return will come Sunday in New Orleans.

B. Portis - PF
Portis is expected to log 24-to-26 minutes in Thursday's game against the Magic, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.
Portis missed 23 games with a knee injury, but after returning to action Monday against Sacramento, he's in line to see a healthy chunk of minutes. Chandler Hutchison is out due to an illness, which figures to be one of the reasons Portis will receive a slight uptick in playing time.
Added 8:03 pm (EST)
K. Dunn - PG
Dunn is expected to log between 24-to-26 minutes in Thursday's game against Orlando, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports.
Dunn has played in just two games this season due to a knee injury, but he's expected to see substantial run with Chandler Hutchison (illness) out Thursday.
