Nickeil Alexander-Walker took another step forward Saturday, scoring 21 points (8-of-19 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs) with four rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in a win over the Nuggets.
Alexander-Walker has not been hesitant to put up shots in the Pelicans' first two scrimmages, as he's attempted a total of 34 (making 14). The percentage isn't great but the aggressiveness is for a player working his way back from a fractured right wrist. That being said, take the numbers with a grain of salt when it comes to projecting Alexander-Walker's potential fantasy impact. No Pelicans starter played more than 13 minutes Saturday, and his two standout performances in Orlando have come against teams with depleted rotations (Nets and Nuggets). Jul 26 11:16 am (EST)
