The Cavaliers are expected to run more sets for Kevin Porter Jr. next season according to Chris Fedor of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.
Porter got off to a slow start to this season, which isn't all that surprising given the learning curve that many rookies experience upon entry into the NBA. Porter, whose season came to an end in early March due to a concussion followed COVID-19 stopping things for four-plus months, appeared to figure some things out in the months of January and February. In 16 games he posted averages of 12.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.5 3-pointers per game, shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from three. Cracking the starting lineup may prove difficult for Porter, but having the opportunity to serve as a primary scorer for the second unit would improve his fantasy value. Sep 24 12:57 pm (EST)
