Kelly Olynyk played 37 minutes off the bench in Friday’s loss to the Lakers, tallying 24 points (9-of-16 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers.
While Meyers Leonard made the start in place of the injured Bam Adebayo, it was Olynyk who as far more effective and played the majority of the minutes. Leonard was limited to just nine minutes in Game 2, putting up seven points (2-of-3 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), one assist and one 3-pointer. Should Adebayo not be available for Game 3, Olynyk may end up being Erik Spoelstra’s choice to start at center due to how well he played Friday night. Oct 02 11:51 pm (EST)
