Frank Ntilikina (right quad contusion) shot 3-of-4 from the field in Thursday’s win over the Pistons, tallying nine points and three 3-pointers in 13 minutes.
Ntilikina, who made his first start of the season in Tuesday’s loss to the Spurs, was back with the second unit due to the return of Elfrid Payton. He made his mark early Thursday night, knocking down three 3-pointers in his first four minutes on the court. While Ntilikina didn’t provide anything else in the win, he has improved substantially from three this season. A career 32.1% shooter from distance, Frank is now 13-of-21 through nine games played. That isn’t enough to make Ntilikina a player worth rostering in most leagues, but his timing couldn’t be better, as this is a contract year. Mar 04 10:13 pm (EST)
