Warriors forward Eric Paschall conceded he'll have a smaller role with the Warriors in 2020-21, after surging as a featured option late in his rookie campaign.
"I know I’m going to take a lesser role," he said. "But I still feel I’m going to make an impact because I feel like I’ve proven myself." Paschall handed out 6.4 assists per game in March, and had post-break averages of 17.5 points on 56.5% shooting, 4.2 dimes, 4.1 rebounds and 0.8 threes. "I feel like it was when Coach Kerr told me I needed to be more of a playmaker," he said. "The game just slowed down. I didn’t have to rush anything anymore ... Draymond Green was telling me to play at my own pace. Don’t rush anything. Change speeds." Defensive stats were barren for Paschall this year, but he's still 23 years old and we've yet to see his fantasy ceiling. Jun 17 2:14 pm (EST)
