Cole Anthony had a solid floor game in Saturday’s loss to the Nets, posting a line of 16 points (6-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one blocked shot and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
With Markelle Fultz (knee) done for the season, Anthony has been thrust into the starting point guard role. While the rookie didn’t shoot the ball particularly well on Saturday, he only turned the ball over once in his 29 minutes on the court. After putting up six and five assists in his first two games, Anthony had not accounted for more than four in any game since. We're still waiting on the rookie to score in an efficient manner, but Anthony's assist-to-turnover ratio on Saturday should be applauded. 8:40 pm (EST)
