Bismack Biyombo was back in the rotation after three straight DNP-CDs on Monday vs. Atlanta, playing 34 minutes with 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
Hornets coach James Borrego said before tonight’s game that he was scrapping his previous pattern of rotating all three of his centers and will instead use Cody Zeller as his starter with Biyombo backing him up for the next "5-7 games." Zeller isn’t able to handle huge workloads with so many knee issues in his past so this may be closer to a timeshare. Biyombo averaged 11.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 dimes and 2.7 blocks in his previous three active games, so he could be a sneaky pickup with three more games on the schedule this week.
