Aric Almirola has an Average Running Position of 12.400 through Week 4 of the 2020 season according to NASCAR Statistical Services.
Almirola’s Average Running Position of 12.400 ranks eighth among 38 drivers. He has been ranked among the top 15 every week, but Almirola has really come on strong in recent races with a ranking of ninth-best at Auto Club (on an Average Running Position of 9.94) and sixth-best at Phoenix (8.50).

Ty Dillon has recorded 11 fastest laps through Week 4 of the 2020 season.
Dillon’s 11 fastest laps ranks 20th among 42 drivers and is 1.3% of the available laps for him. He is tied with Erik Jones for the 20th rank. Most of Dillon’s fastest laps recorded (nine) came in the Daytona 500 in the draft, but he was also able to record one each at Las Vegas and Auto Club during pit stop sequences.

Bubba Wallace has an average finish of 16.75 through Week 4 of the 2020 season.
Wallace’s average finish of 16.75 ranks 15th among 38 drivers with two or more starts this year. Wallace is tied at 15th with Kurt Busch. Wallace’s average is positively impacted by a sixth-place finish in the Pennzoil 400, but there have been other signs of strength this year. He has finished on the lead lap in three of the four races so far.

Martin Truex Jr. has an average place-differential of -7.75 through the first four weeks of 2020.
Truex’s -7.75 ranks third-worst among 38 drivers. Truex’s abysmal place-differential total even comes with one 38th-place starting position at Auto Club when he failed qualification multiple times and had to roll off the grid from the last spot. His luck has been simply terrible with a pair of DNFs for accidents at Daytona and Phoenix. But, if he can reverse his fortune, he will go back to being the great value he was in 2019.

Matt DiBenedetto has recorded 326 Quality Passes in 2020 according to NASCAR Statistical Services. A Quality Pass is a pass for position while a driver is inside the top 15.
DiBenedetto’s 326 Quality Passes ranks him ninth among 41 drivers. He has recorded at least 45 passes while inside the top 15 in every race this year, but DiBenedetto’s best performance (in terms of ranking compared to the competition) came in his most recent attempt at Phoenix. He logged 65 Quality Passes there and was ranked fourth. DiBenedetto finished in the top 15 at Phoenix as well with a 13th-place result.

Joey Logano has an average place-differential of -3.00 through the first four weeks of 2020.
Logano’s -3.00 ranks 13th-worst among 38 drivers. Logano’s negative number is largely impacted by a loss of 26 positions in the Daytona 500. In three attempts on unrestricted tracks, he’s won twice from fifth at Las Vegas and 13th at Phoenix. His other attempt at Auto Club resulted in a loss of five place-differential points with a finish of 12th.

Clint Bowyer has a Place-differential of +2.75 through Week 4 of the 2020 season.
Bowyer’s +2.75 ranks 11th-best among 38 drivers this year with an average start of 14.25 and finish of 11.50. Bowyer has improved in two race and lost positions in two, but the races in which he finished better than he started were significant with a +23 at Daytona (to finished sixth) and a +13 at Phoenix (fifth).

Timmy Hill has posted 29 laps inside the top 15 so far in 2020, according to NASCAR Statistical Services.
Hill’s 29 laps in the top 15 ranks 29th among 42 drivers and is 2.9 percent of his available laps. All 29 of Hill’s laps among the leaders were spent in the wild card Daytona 500. He was ranked 31st on that chart.
