2023 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Casas got off to a rough start last season but with 15 HRs, a .319 BA and a 1.035 OPS in his final 56 games, he progressed nicely as the season wore on. His strikeout rate, which at times spiked into the 35% range, eventually settled in to an acceptable overall 25.1%.
2024 Outlook: Even while slumping he showed good patience at the plate and as evidenced by his overall 13.9 walk rate and he’ll be extremely valuable in OBP leagues. He struggled against left-handed pitching which limits his BA ceiling, but he has 30 HR potential.
