Rockies manager Bud Black said Sunday evening that he will no longer use a "designated closer."
Jairo Diaz had a brutal ninth inning Sunday afternoon against the Rangers that featured three walks, a hit, and two runs scored. Carlos Estevez came on to finish out the 10-6 victory for the Rockies, but he got struck on the hand by a comebacker that turned into the final out and is being sent for X-rays.
