Red Sox signed OF Hunter Renfroe to a one-year contract.
Alex Speier of the Boston Globe reports that the deal is worth $3.1 million with an additional $600,000 in possible incentives. This is right around what he would have made in arbitration. Renfroe was recently non-tendered by the Rays after batting just 156/.252/.393 with eight homers, 22 RBI and a 37/14 K/BB ratio in 139 plate appearances this past season.
