Jon Heyman of MLB Network hears that Anibal Sanchez and Julio Teheran were both throwing "free and easy" during their double showcase on Tuesday in Miami.
Their velocity readings were similar and "respectable," per Heyman's sources, and both pitchers appeared to be in great physical shape. 24 teams were represented at the workout and the expectation is that Sanchez and Teheran could each land a deal in the very near future. Sanchez, 36, stumbled to a 6.62 ERA in 53 innings (11 starts) last season with the Nationals. Teheran, 29, had an awful 10.05 ERA in 31 1/3 innings with the Angels. Yesterday 6:57 pm (EST)
