L. James - SF
James finished with 29 points (12-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 37 minutes during Thursday's 126-111 loss to Houston.
James went 12-of-18 from the field Thursday, finishing with a team-high 29 points in a loss to Houston. James Harden went off for 50 points which took the shine of what was another strong effort by James. He did only manage 2-of-6 from the free-throw line and the Lakers as a team shot just 55 percent. The free-throws continue to be the one flaw in James' overall game but are a small price to pay for owners who are enjoying his solid production across the board.

B. Knight - PG
Knight tallied just one rebound and one assist in four minutes during Thursday's 126-111 victory over the Lakers.
Knight made his season debut for the Rockets, playing just four minutes. He is going to be brought along very slowly and even once he is back to full speed, he is likely not going to see enough playing time to warrant a roster spot in most formats.

C. Paul - PG
Paul totaled 14 points (3-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine assists, three steals, and one rebound in 37 minutes during Thursday's 126-111 victory over the Lakers.
Paul took a backseat to the James Harden show Thursday, coming within one assist of a double-double. He did struggle from the field somewhat but made up for it with nine assists and three steals. Paul is rolling along quietly putting up numbers as he tends to do. Harden garners all the spotlight, and rightfully so, leaving Paul as one of the more underrated fantasy point guards. If he can stay healthy, Paul should remain a top 25 player moving forward.

C. Capela - C
Capela had 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 FT), 14 rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal in 35 minutes during Thursday's 126-111 victory over the Lakers.
Capela dropped another double-double Thursday, his 19th of the season. After seeing his playing time drop slightly over the past three games, Capela was back up to 35 minutes in this one. Backup center Nene was ejected in the third quarter which meant Capela played out the remainder of the game so this performance was slightly skewed. Capela continues to put up big numbers on a nightly basis and there is no reason to think this type of production won't be sustainable.

J. Harden - SG
Harden finished with 50 points (14-26 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 18-19 FT), 11 assists, 10 rebounds, and two steals in 36 minutes during Thursday's 126-111 victory over the Lakers.
Harden was a one-man wrecking crew Thursday, putting up his third triple-double of the season in spectacular fashion. What makes this line even more amazing is that fact that none of his numbers were season-high marks. The best we can offer was that his 19 free-throw attempts matched his season-high from three weeks ago. Harden is going to be in the discussion for the number one overall player again this season and of course, there is no reason to sell high.

D. Smith Jr. - PG
Smith (wrist) will take the court Thursday against Phoenix, Mavericks radio play-by-play broadcaster Chuck Cooperstein reports.
Smith will return to game action after missing four matchups with a wrist injury. He'll presumably regain his role as the starting point guard, pushing Jalen Brunson back to the bench.

J. Barea - PG
Barea (ankle) is unavailable for Thursday's game against the Suns, Mavericks radio play-by-play broadcaster Chuck Cooperstein reports.
Barea was listed as a game-time decision leading up to Thursday's tip, but his injured left ankle evidently doesn't feel healthy enough to give it a go. Devin Harris could see more minutes off the bench as a result.

D. Nowitzki - PF
Nowitzki is set to make his season debut Thursday against the Suns but will have his minutes limited, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Nowitzki will be available off the bench for the first time all year following ankle surgery. Given his long layoff, the 40-year-old isn't expected to log many minutes in Phoenix.
