Ottawa Senators at New York Rangers

The Rangers come into this game with an implied goal total sitting at 3.41, which is very surprising since they are only scoring 1.93 goals per game over the past month. The differential is likely due to the fact they are up against the Senators, who are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, and one we’ve been starting all season. The Rangers are still allowing 3.13 goals per game in the past month and for the prices on the Senators, they are some solid options tonight considering we only have three games on the slate.

This game is very in the middle for me. If this was on a normal eight-game slate, we wouldn’t be going near this one for any fantasy value, but we kinda have to since only three games tonight. It’s not like we don’t want to be targeting the Senators, but the inconsistency for the Rangers right now is tough to roster knowing they are and have been eliminated from the playoffs.

We’ll look to grab a few players here and there from both teams, Mika Zibanejad, Chris Kreider, Ryan Strome, Jimmy Vesey, Brady Tkachuk, Anthony Duclair, Thomas Chabot, Colin White, and Dylan Demelo.

St. Louis Blues at Chicago Blackhawks

We have a classic Central Division rivalry here with the Blues looking to grab a few easy points to help their playoff seeding, while the Blackhawks were eliminated from the playoffs a few days ago. The Blues are looking to be the chalk team of the night since they are actually the only team with anything to play for along with having a solid matchup to attack.

Vladimir Tarasenko should be one of the most popular players on the slate and comes in with four points and 18 shots in his last five games. That top line with Ryan O’Reilly and Brayden Schenn should be a popular stack tonight. The Blues across the board should be popular in all formats tonight, Alex Pietrangelo, Colton Parayko, and Vince Dunn and their defensemen you should be targeting. I like the Blues a lot tonight and they will be very popular.

For the Blackhawks, they have an implied total sitting at 2.64, which is OK, and if we want to do a game stack here it's viable since the salaries line up nicely. Getting to Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews is great, but at those salaries, the Blues players have higher overall projections. Alex DeBrincat is also in that same mix, where he is a good player, but the price on him doesn’t match up with the projection.

Calgary Flames at Anaheim Ducks

There is a part of me that has no idea what to do with this game since the Ducks actually looks somewhat decent as of late, still bad overall, but decent lately. Combined with the fact the Flames seem to be resting every on their roster, here’s a short list of who is out: Sean Monahan, Sam Bennett, Elias Lindholm, Mark Giordano, Noah Hanifin, Travis Hamonic, T.J. Brodie. Jeez, Lot of line changes going around because of this which yes, does open up some value making this an interesting spot to attack. I like them as a second stack in, still going to the Blues as the top overall option.

The Ducks come in with the lowest expect Corsi For on the slate and the lowest implied goal total, so no real reason to go to them tonight when their salaries are similar to the Senators who are in a better spot.
