Philadelphia Flyers @ Ottawa Senators

The Flyers come in as -133 road favorite with an implied goal total set at 3.43, which should tell you how bad the Senators are. We have Craig Anderson Confirmed as goalie for the Senators, while we should see Calvin Pickard in net for the Flyers. It should be noted, that Pickard will be making his Flyers debut tonight and is not currently in the player pool on FanDuel, but he is available on DraftKings. On a night like tonight with only three games, I would mainly stick to GPPs and not cash games, so he is certainly a viable option tonight.

Last night, the Flyers got absolutely embarrassed on home ice, giving up eight goals to the Sharks. Back to back nights for them and in need of a very strong bounce back game. In all reality, this is a game they truly should be winning. They are a better team than the Senators and you want to be getting exposure to the Flyers top two lines tonight. Claude Giroux, Sean Couturier, and Jakub Voracek are on the first forward line together, along with being on the first power-play unit. This should be a very popular stack tonight, but even with higher ownership, they have multi-goal upside. The second power-play is just a bit cheaper but still should be in a good spot regardless. Also don’t forget about Shayne Gostisbehere on defense, as he sees time on the power-play.

On the Senators side of things, they really aren’t the best offensive team in the league, but they are going up against a goalie who doesn’t have a ton of NHL experience under his belt. If you are going to be stacking up the Senators tonight, I wouldn’t go past their first power-play unit, just seems a bit thin. Stick with Matt Duchene, Mark Stone, Bobby Ryan, and Ryan Dzingel.

Vegas Golden Knights @ Washington Capitals

We have a nice Stanley Cup rematch tonight, which should be a very exciting game. If we get a game like we saw in last year’s finals, there should be plenty of scoring. Both teams have plenty of offensive options to choose from, but are on the more expensive side. The goalies in this are certainly risky tonight, but again, you should be sticking with GPPs on an only three games slate.

On the Vegas side, their top line also makes up their top power-play unit, which gives you shared ice time and thus, big point upside. William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, and Reilly Smith are all firmly in the conversation tonight, so don’t shy away from them if you have the salary. The second line is also a good spot who are just a bit cheaper, Max Pacioretty, Erik Haula and Shea Theodore make a nice mini-stack.

For the Capitals, we know what we can get from this offense, who have put up 13 goals in just two games this season. You are going to be paying a premium price to have a full line stack here, which is a bit difficult tonight since there is a lack of value on this slate. If you can find a way to jam in Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, John Carlson, T.J. Oshie, or Nicklas Backstrom, take any of that bunch and you should be in a good spot. Braden Holtby and Marc-Andre Fleury have both been confirmed as the starters tonight.

Arizona Coyotes @ Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks come in as the largest favorite on the slate at -155, as they are up against the Coyotes, who have the lowest implied goal total, sitting at 2.47. John Gibson is not yet confirmed as the Ducks goalie, but if he is in net, he should be the safest option available tonight. With Ryan Getzlaf out with an injury, the top forward line for the Ducks is, Rickard Rakell, Adam Henrique, and Troy Terry, who all see power-play time as well. The Ducks have some very solid defenders, Cam Fowler, Hampus Lindholm, and Brandon Montour, who are all on the power-play units. They are the home favorites up against a weak defensive team, just play them.

For the Yotes, playing them is strictly for the sake of being contrarian. John Gibson in net for the Ducks has looked strong to start the season and as I mentioned, the Ducks have a solid defense. If you want salary savings and are shooting for low ownership, the Coyotes are the way to go. Look for Derek Stepan, Clayton Keller, Richard Panik, and Oliver Ekman-Larsson as the top power-play unit.
