The Usual Suspects - Pick Your LineupThe time from when the Super Bowl ends until the first whistle tonight seems like the longest foreplay in history.  It is passionate – on and off – caressing yet tough and sometimes when pre-season games are on, it almost feels like that time.  But no, TONIGHT is that time.  After kickoff tonight however, we will not be satisfied. It will feel good.  But, the foreplay will begin again starting first thing tomorrow and lead to Sunday when crazed passion will culminate with a climactic crescendo that will blow the top of the Dallas Stadium.TEN NFL games starting at 1PM ET.  YEAH BABY!!Well you need to have as many reasons to enjoy the games as possible and enroll as many people into your passion of playing fantasy football.   “I don’t know enough about football,” your friends whine. “I don’t have the time to play,” says your entitled buddy. Well, here is the answer.  Over the last 48 hours, there has been a ground swell for a new game called The Fantasy 100.  The game is FREE and has a $10,000 CASH Grand Prize.  It is sooooo freaking simple.  The top 100 NFL projected players are placed into 10 tiers each week.  You select 10 players using those tiers to add up to at least 50 (sort of a reverse Salary Cap).  The players score fantasy points.  The Fantasy 100 aggregates those points each week keeping only your best 10 scores in the first 14 weeks.  The top 10% make the playoffs and the winner of a three week playoff wins $10,000.  It’s that simple. So - Play The Fantasy 100 – Its FREE and you could win $10,000.You can even play against Celebrities:RAY FLOWERS AND JEFF MANS:  League: Mans vs Flowers    Password:  mansdownSKLAR BROTHERS: League: Henderson    Password:  jennerSo, back to the show.  All week, I have been reading, listening, watching and rewatching tape of pre-season, but really what it all comes down to is setting your best lineup (right – the best movie lineup in history from The Usual Suspects).    I reviewed all the matchups.  Then I did some projections.  Then I compared that to the Tier values in order to make the best lineup.  My lineup is VERY RB heavy.  That is the way to insure that you get points.  See my lineup below and I will run it down for you:So let’s take a look.  After each player is his team, my projected points, the opponent and their teams average points against that position for 2012.The Usual Suspects - Pick Your LineupTony Romo DAL – 26 Pts – vs NY Giants (22) – 4 Tier PtsRomo is a Giant killer.  Many would say that is not the way it goes at home, but Romo has never had all his weapons healthy and at their absolute peak.  Bryant could be the best playing in football.  No hammy issues for Austin.  Murray is 100%.  Oh yeah, and don’t forget about Jason Witten who set the record for receptions by a TE last season.  Game on Giants.  Look out.Doug Martin TAM – 28 F100 Pts – at Jets (23) – 1 Tier PtThis is a straight matchup play.   The New York Jets are in disarray.  The loss of Revis is more than people realize.  The QB situation should lead to turnovers and the ball in the hands of Tampa Bay.  Doug Martin was ridiculous last year and should start off with over 100 yards and a TD.  Martin should add 4-5 catches for 40-50 yards.Stevan Ridley NWE – 28 F100 Pts – at Bills (26) – 4 Tier PtsNew England will need to run the ball as Brady gets used to his new weapons.  Without Gronk, Hernandez and Welker coupled with Amendola being not 100%, the RBs will be forced to play a huge role.  Boldin with fumble issues and Vareen being used as a WR in certain sets, Ridley is the main.  Bank on 100+ and at least one TD.Steven Jackson  ATL – 24 F100 Pts – at Saints (30) – 4 Tier PtsThe Saints averaged giving up 30 points to RBs last year.  UGH.  Steven Jackson is in a great situation with a high powered offense that loves to run the ball inside the 5 yard line.  Steven Jackson will eat up yards in the middle of the field, catch passes and score at least once.Chris Johnson  TEN – 19 F100 Pts – at Steelers  (18) – 8 Tier PtsIn every fantasy game, you need to take some risk.  Other than my Defense, this is the only spot that I took a risk.  Pittsburgh gives up very little to RBs, but Chris Johnson was hitting the hole with authority in the pre-season and the Steelers unit is getting older.  Expect it to be 12 carries for 13 yards until CJ2K rips off a 35 yard TD.  He will not crack 100 yards rushing, but will combined.  He’s BACK.Dwayne Bowe  KAN – 15 F100 Pts – at Jaguars (37) – 5 Tier PtsTwo words: Andy Reid.  Bowe is a matchup play.  He is undervalued here getting you 5 Tier pts and playing in a pass heavy system.Anquan Boldin  SF – 17 F100 Pts – vs Packers (35) – 7 Tier PtsThere are too many things going on here not to take Boldin.  First and maybe most important is that you get yourself a cool 7 Tier Points.  With Michael Crabtree hurt, Boldin is the clear number 1 WR on this team.  He is GREAT at getting those key third down conversions and will fast become Kaepernick’s bosom buddy.  Also, Green Bay gives up a TON of points to WRs, an average of 35 pts per game.  Expect Boldin to collect 17 of those.Eric Decker  DEN – 18 F100 Pts – vs Ravens (34) – 8 Tier PtsTwo main points that will have Decker blow tonight for you’re the Fantasy 100 team: (1) Peyton Manning said that chemistry takes time and that he already has chemistry with Eric Decker; (2) With Ray Lewis AND Ed Reed last year, the Ravens gave up 34 points per week on average to WRs.  CRAZY.  Put it in the bank.Jimmy Graham  NOR – 16 F100 Pts – vs Falcons (13) – 1 Tier PtThis was tough to get away from.  I didn’t want to take Graham.  I had Jared Cook in there getting me 10 Tier Points which is certainly a viable alternative.  But, at the end of the day, the projection for Graham was so far above the next TE that like pocket kings, I couldn’t get away from it.St Louis Rams  – 12 F100 Pts – at Jaguars (37) – 5 Tier PtsThe best matchup plays at defense are Tampa Bay (@Jets), Indy (OAK) and New England (@Bills).  However, there was a need to reach here to get almost equal value and get the Tier Points I needed to keep all the other players.  It is not a bad strategy to identify the highest Tier Points defense that can be played FIRST.  That is what I did.  I decided this first and that gave me flexibility in other places…specifically to take Doug Martin. So what are you waiting for? Prove me wrong.Play The Fantasy 100 – Its FREE and you could win $10,000.
