Saturday’s slate features three games between a top-six side and a smaller team, and I’m not sure the games could be any different. That should make for an awfully interesting DFS slate, especially considering only two of the games are available on the DraftKings slate.

Manchester City and Sheffield are only available on FanDuel, though I’m not sure anyone who’s only playing on DraftKings is missing much. City have struggled in attack this season, scoring fewer goals per game than Southampton, Brighton and West Ham, among others. Sheffield, meanwhile, have the fewest goals scored per game this season. This could be a get-right game for one or both offenses, but I’m not really expecting it.

I think this is more likely to be a get-right game for Burnley, especially if Johann Gudmundsson can go. Chelsea’s defense has been its Achilles heel for much of the season, though they did hold Manchester United scoreless last week. Burnley look like themselves defensively after a rough start, though they have always been susceptible to athletic attackers, and Chelsea have several.

After each of their last four league games I’ve found myself asking “Is West Ham good?” And considering they have two wins and two draws against Wolves, Leicester, Tottenham and Manchester City, I think the answer has to be yes. At this point, it seems fair to ask if Liverpool are good, especially with them conceding the most goals in the league. Even Sheffield managed to score against Liverpool this season, though West Ham could have a hard time with Michail Antonio out.

Nick PopeBRNCHE40002.7375.30
Burnley are still susceptible to getting overrun by athletic attackers, and that is obviously a concern in this game. That being said, they finally look like themselves defensively, allowing one goal in their last two games. Chelsea are averaging five shots on target per game, which should give Pope some opportunities for saves.
Edouard MendyCHEBRN560012.41119.50
Mendy has kept clean sheets in both of his Premier League starts, and while I don't necessarily think he has magically fixed all of Chelsea's defensive woes, it may not matter against Burnley. Burnley have scored the fewest goals in the Premier League this season, and they could really struggle if Johann Berg Gudmundsson is out again.
EdersonMCISHU  138.00
Sheffield have scored the fewest goals per game in the Premier League this season, and while City's defense hasn't been great, it probably doesn't need to be. Mandy is probably a better value, but I suspect Ederson's ownership will be lower.

Ashley BarnesBRNCHE48006.761410.73
Barnes looked good in his last game as he comes back from a hernia, and it was encouraging to see him play 89 minutes. He has outscored Chris Wood for fantasy since he returned three games ago, but he is still cheaper than Wood. This is not a great matchup for Burnley, but if they do get a goal, there is an excellent chance Barnes is the one to get it. He is a cheap GPP play on both sites.
Rhian BrewsterSHUMCI  122.15
Brewster's forward eligibility increases his value on DraftKings, but he is still a cheap GPP play on FanDuel. I don't love this matchup, or that he only played 54 minutes last week, but I think he's a good young player who will cost significantly more than this before too long.
Sebastien HallerWHULIV52002.87145.86
Whoever replaces Michail Antonio will be a nice value, especially if he winds up on set pieces. Haller has 14.4 DK fantasy points in 50 minutes this season, and he is cheaper than Andrei Yarmolenko

Midfielders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Oliver NorwoodSHUMCI  116.03
Norwood is averaging 8.19 fantasy points in two starts, with three chances created and two clearances. He is a nice value play if he starts, especially for cash lineups.
Timo WernerCHEBRN86009.982114.83
Werner scored on a penalty in the Champions League this week after Jorginho missed one. Werner is a strong GPP play anyway, but he's obviously even more valuable if he's now on penalties.
Kevin De BruyneMCISHU  2326.58
He is averaging 32.8 fantasy points per start this season despite only recording one assist on 14 chances created. It probably stands to reason assists would be hard to come by with Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus out, but I still think we have an excellent chance at attacking returns in this game.  I'm tempted to pay a little less for Salah or Mane, but I think De Bruyne is a bit safer.
Mohamed SalahLIVWHU1050021.582235.23
When in doubt, play Salah at home. That hasn't worked out in his last couple of home games, but I think that's because Sheffield and Arsenal are two of the better defensive teams in the league. In a GPP, I'm going with Salah unless I really need to save some money.
Sadio ManeLIVWHU1030022.132132.04
Mane and Salah are so close, I couldn't bring myself to pick just one. Mane's floor has been better than Salah's on DraftKings so I'll go with Mane for cash lineups, but there really isn't a wrong answer between the two. The correct answer may actually be to play them both, though I don't think I would do that in a cash game.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Johann GudmundssonBRNCHE46003.7355.63
Gudmundsson is forward eligible, and he has at least 5.1 DK fantasy points in both starts. He is a safe cash play on both sites, and I think he has a decent shot at an assist as well.
Josh BrownhillBRNCHE30005.65810.28
If Gudmundsson's minor calf issue keeps him out, Brownhill will likely move to the right side, where he averaged 6.8 DK fantasy points in the two games Gudmundsson missed. If Gudmundsson is out, I think Brownhill is basically a must-play.
Jarrod BowenWHULIV7100131513.38
I still consider Bowen safe for fantasy, especially on DK, even though he struggled against Manchester City. West Ham tried to sit back and defend after they went up early. Even if they go up early again this week, I doubt West Ham will have that luxury. Only Manchester United are allowing more goals per game than Liverpool this season.

Defenders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Kurt ZoumaCHEBRN41009.171423.26
I still think his price is inflated thanks to two early-season goals, but his floor on FanDuel is undeniable. Opposing players have racked up clearances against Burnley thanks to all their long balls and crosses into the box, and Zouma is tied for fourth in the league in clearances.
Enda StevensSHUMCI  812.57
Stevens has the perfect combination of a high floor, a cheap price and an assured starting spot. Ethan Ampadu has been just as good and is even cheaper than Stevens, if he starts.
Max LoweSHUMCI  51.30
Lowe is a complete wild card, having played just 19 minutes in his only start of the season before he left with a concussion. If he starts again, it is possible you can get Ampadu's fantasy production at a bargain basement price, but he is obviously risky.
Vladimir CoufalWHULIV46009.391317.40
Coufal has been good in relief of Ryan Fredericks, with seven clearances, three chances created and 10 crosses through three games. If Fredericks rejoins the starting 11, he can go right back in your starting lineups.
Matthew LowtonBRNCHE30006.881310.40
Lowton had 6.9 DK fantasy points playing in place of Phil Bardsley last week, and I'm shocked his price hasn't gone up. Lowton is good for a couple of crosses and is super cheap so long as Bardsley is ruled out.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Aaron CresswellWHULIV530012.441419.03
Just about all of the top attacking defenders are in this slate, which drives down the price of Cresswell. He is averaging nearly as many DK fantasy points as Trent Alexander-Arnold, but he is $1200 cheaper.
Thiago SilvaCHEBRN34005.691014.30
Silva is averaging four clearances per game, and he has at least 18.4 DK fantasy points in each of his last two games. He probably isn't as safe as Kurt Zouma, but he is much cheaper.

As always, the lineups below are examples of lineups you can make using the players in the Playbook and are not for plug and play.
