I love getting to explore all of the different games MKF has to offer for the various sports, and this week, we get to try out the 4-Point Play for the first time. With everyone in the NBA getting up a ton of three's, I love the idea of combining points and threes into one number. Saturday’s NBA slate features a lot of interesting games, so I love the idea of playing at least one contest for a bunch of different games, to make my view that much more interesting.

4 Point Play

Anthony Davis and Andrew Wiggins Over 56.5 Points + Threes

Assuming Wiggins plays, this will be his first game with his new team, and that is a bit scary. On the other hand, Wiggins has always been able to score, and with D’Angelo Russell, Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III gone, Wiggins is going to have to get a ton of shots up.

I might be willing to up the goal to 62.5 or 70.5 points if Draymond Green is out, since that would likely mean a much easier time for Anthony Davis . Only the Bucks have allowed more made threes per game than the Warriors this season, which certainly helps.

More or Less 3/3

Nikola Jokic More than 49.5 fantasy points

Jokic will probably carry less of the offensive load with Paul Millsap and Jerami Grant expected to return, but it’s not like either of those guys has the ball in his hands a ton, and Will Barton remains out. Jokic has at least 50 fantasy points in six of his last eight games, including each of his last three. Jokic had 52.4 fantasy points at Phoenix back in December, and he’ll have rest on his side as well. The Nuggets have had the last two days off, while Phoenix is on the second night of a back-to-back.

Deandre Ayton Less Than 43.5 fantasy points

Ayton has fewer than 32 fantasy points in four of his last nine games, but he topped 43.5 fantasy points in all the others. The Nuggets have allowed the sixth-fewest rebounds in the NBA this season, and Ayton will likely need a double-double to go over, and I don’t see that happening, given the circumstances.

Devin Booker Less Than 40.5 fantasy points

The Nuggets held Booker to 24.6 fantasy points in their last meeting, but Booker has topped 41 fantasy points in seven of his last 11 games. He has been slightly worse at home and with no rest, and the Nuggets have allowed the 11th-fewest fantasy points to shooting guards this season.

More or Less 2/2

DeMar DeRozan More Than 24.5 points

The Kings are allowing the ninth-most points in the NBA over their last 15 games, and DeRozan has at least 25 points in four of his last six games.

De’Aaron Fox More Than 21.5 points

Fox has topped 22 points in three of his last four games, and I expect him to bounce back from Friday’s 16-point effort against Miami. The Spurs’ have been in or near the top 10 in opponents’ points all season, and I don’t think they have anyone who can slow Fox down or meet him at the rim.
