I often lament the end of the NFL regular season, but with PlaySqorr and the PlaySqorr app, the playoffs are the best time of year for fantasy. I am super excited to play my card for Sunday’s NFL Wild Card games, so much so that I’m playing all six picks on the card. If your hometown team failed to sniff the playoffs because they made an indefensible trade for a below-average quarterback, PlaySqorr can give you a reason to watch the games, and a chance to win significant money. If all six of our picks hit this week, we will win 35x our entry. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the picks.

NFL Wild Card Weekend NFC Sunday

Kirk Cousins Under 18.5 fantasy points

Cousins hasn’t topped 18.5 fantasy points since Week 11. It would certainly help if Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook are closer to 100 percent, but I simply do not trust Cousins against a good defense on the road.

Carson Wentz Over 19.25 fantasy points

Wentz has averaged 20.38 fantasy points over his last five games, and while none of those were against good defenses, this game isn’t against a good defense, either. Getting Zach Ertz and Miles Sanders back should help as well. I just believe in Wentz at home against Seattle’s defense, so I’m going over.

Russell Wilson Fantasy Points vs. Drew Brees -0.25

Wilson is certainly capable of outscoring Brees, and I think their matchups are about even. Brees certainly has an advantage playing at home, and he has been remarkably consistent in the last three weeks. Wilson has been handcuffed for much of his career by Pete Carroll’s blind devotion to running the football, and I’m concerned it happens again like it did against Dallas in last year’s playoffs.

Alvin Kamara -4.75 fantasy points vs. Boston Scott

Miles Sanders doesn’t have an injury designation, so this is an easy call, even though Scott has a very nice matchup against Seattle. There is also a decent chance Jordan Howard features in this game, even though he didn’t play last week despite being active.

Tyler Lockett -0.25 fantasy points vs. Stefon Diggs

Both of these players have huge ceilings and very low floors. Lockett almost certainly has the better matchup, though Diggs gets to play indoors. Diggs will almost certainly get the Marshon Lattimore treatment for at least some of this game, and that’s enough to tip the scales towards Lockett.

Adam Thielen fantasy points vs. Dallas Goedert

Zach Ertz is expected to play, but you could make the argument that helps Goedert, especially if Philadelphia can move the ball more effectively. Thielen has done very little since suffering his hamstring injury in Week 7, and while he certainly could be healthier after taking last week off, I wouldn’t want to count on it. Goedert has double-digit fantasy points in seven of his last 10 games, including each of his last three. Thielen hasn’t done anything to demonstrate he can match that fantasy production.
