Boston Celtics at Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee Bucks -7.5

Total: 223

Boston Celtics

Any scenario for Boston winning this series begins with Al Horford and Kyrie Irving playing Brook Lopez off the floor. When Horford is at his best he is a handful on both sides of the floor. Marcus Morris was pretty quiet against Indiana, playing 30 minutes just once. He could wind up being the backup center for much of this series, and I’d be pretty shocked if he doesn’t play 30+ minutes in this game. Boston’s starting five plus Gordon Hayward are all in play for fantasy, though Brown and Hayward feel the most risky.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Celtics have multiple bodies to throw at Giannis Antetekounmpo in Al Horford, Marcus Morris, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and even Semi Ojeleye, but I’m not sure how much they can do against him. Giannis will almost certainly have a harder time than he did in Round 1, though he will probably play 5-7 minutes more than against Detroit.

It seems impossible now that Eric Bledsoe was outplayed by Terry Rozier last year when these teams played. Rozier may not even play a whole lot, but Bledsoe’s struggles a year ago make me hesitant to play him even though his price is very reasonable.

Sterling Brown will probably have two big games in this series, but good luck guessing when they will come. Outside of Giannis, Bledsoe and Khris Middleton, I really don’t want to mess around with any Bucks.

Houston Rockets at Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors -5.5

Total: 224.5

Houston Rockets

Clint Capela ate Rudy Gobert’s lunch for much of that series; what do we think he’s going to do against Kevon Looney and Andrew Bogut? Chris Paul has at least 35 fantasy points in each of his last three games. If Stephen Curry is limited by his ankle injury, Paul could take advantage, even though Paul figures to be guarded by Andre Iguodala and Klay Thompson a decent amount. Eric Gordon was solid against Utah, and this could be a better matchup for him.

Golden State Warriors

Kevin Durant is still awfully cheap for someone who scored 69.5 and 70.0 fantasy points in his last two games. Since Steve Kerr said he wanted Durant to shoot 20-30 times a game, Durant has at least 21 field goal attempts and 52.75 fantasy points in four straight games. Durant may need to take even more shots if Steph and Klay’s ankles are an issue.

Andre Iguodala averaged 26.8 fantasy points in 25.7 minutes against the Clippers, and I suspect the Warriors will need him to play 30ish minutes in this game. Kevon Looney is worth a shot if you need a punt play who probably needs to play extra minutes in this matchup.
