Last week on PrizePicks may have been my best so far. My 2-pick entry of Jeremy Lamb and Al Horford OVER hit comfortably, though my other two picks (Darren Collison over 32.3 and Jarrett Allen under 27.4) did not work out nearly so well. The Allen pick in particular was agonizingly close. That being said, considering I didn’t feel terribly confident in any of my picks last week, I was happy to see the top two hit. This week I feel much better about my picks. Thus, for the first time, I am foregoing a 2-pick entry and submitting a 3-pick entry. If all three over/under picks are correct, I will win 5x my entry.

Once again, I am picking four over/unders this week, and presenting them to you in my order of confidence. Thus, the first three picks listed below are the three I’m entering tonight. If I were to do a 2-pick entry, it would be the first two listed. If you feeling more adventurous than I, or if you simply want an alternative to one of my first three picks, I have listed a fourth I like as well. As always, hit me up on Twitter or in the FANation Chat and let me know who you’re picking on PrizePicks Monday.

Steve’s Picks for February 4, 2019:

Jarrett Allen vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Projected Fantasy Points: 27.0

UNDER

I went under on 27.4 fantasy points for Jarrett Allen last week, and he finished with 27.5. It was one of only two times he has gone over 27.0 fantasy points in his last seven games. The Bucks are allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing centers this season, and Jarrett Allen managed just 19.3 fantasy points in his only game against Milwaukee this season.

Will Barton at Detroit Pistons

Projected Fantasy Points: 26.6

UNDER

Barton has gone under 26.6 fantasy points in each of his last three games and four of the five games Jamal Murray has missed. I think it would actually be worse for Barton if Murray returns, but based on recent history, I’m confident going under in either case.

Nikola Jokic at Detroit Pistons

Projected Fantasy Points: 48.7

OVER

Jokic has gone over 48.7 fantasy points in two of his last three games and five of his last seven. He went for 68.4 fantasy points in his only game against Detroit last season. I don’t think Andre Drummond matches up well with Jokic, and while it would probably help Jokic if Jamal Murray sits again, I’m taking the over either way.

John Collins at Washington Wizards

Projected Fantasy Points: 36.8

OVER

Collins went over 36.8 fantasy points in two of this three games against Washington this season despite recording nary a block. Collins had a double-double both of the times he went over, and I like his chances at another double-double considering the Wizards rank 28th in opponent’s rebounds and points.
