Sunday’s Optimal Lineups will be posted within one hour of lineup lock.

Memphis Grizzlies @ New York Knicks

Grizzlies

I don’t know that I will ever trust Shelvin Mack for fantasy, but I don’t know how you get away from him if Mike Conley is out again. Mack had 19 points and nine assists Friday with Conley out. Just keep in mind, in three games as a starter this season, Mack is averaging a more modest 10.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists.

Memphis’s other point guard, Jevon Carter, also started Friday, taking 11 shots in 31 minutes. He only made three shots, but added two rebounds, three assists, a block and three steals. If Mike Conley is out again, Carter is a solid punt play with some upside if he makes a few more shots.

Knicks

Dennis Smith Jr. was playing awfully well before the trade to the Knicks, culminating in a triple-double Wednesday against his current team. Smith Jr. will be the unquestioned lead ball-handler, which is something we haven’t really seen this season. Wesley Matthews and Kevin Knox figure to be the secondary playmakers in the Knicks revamped rotation, though I’m not sure we can trust any Knick outside of DSJ until we see what the team actually looks like.

If DeAndre Jordan is active, I will have an awfully hard time trusting any of the Knicks frontcourt players. Jordan is super cheap, so if you want to play him and hope he plays 30 minutes (or puts up a double-double in 20 minutes) I get it, but I’m not sure why Knicks head coach David Fizdale would play Jordan much when he could give valuable minutes to youngsters Luke Kornet, Mitchell Robinson and Noah Vonleh. Vonleh is probably the safest of that group, as he figures to start at power forward no matter what happens with DeAndre Jordan. That being said, he played just 14 minutes in the last game before the trade, and that was with Luke Kornet out.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Boston Celtics

Thunder

Dennis Schroder has been good for the Thunder as their third offensive option, but he has been a bit inconsistent for fantasy. It is possible he is turning a corner, however. Schroder has at least 11 field goal attempts in three consecutive games, with at least 28 fantasy points on DraftKings in each of those games. It also didn’t hurt that he played at least 28 minutes in each of those games.

Russell Westbrook fell two assists shy of a triple-double in the first meeting between these teams, but he otherwise struggled. Westbrook was 5-of-20 from the field and had five turnovers in 32 minutes.

Celtics

The biggest question for the Celtics, as it has been all season, is Gordon Hayward. Hayward has looked better of late, scoring at least 12 points in each of his last two games, while also demonstrating explosiveness that has bene in short supply following his ankle injury. Of course, Hayward has looked like he was turning a corner at other points of the season only to disappear again.

Jayson Tatum has looked better of late as well, getting to the rim more often rather than settling for jump shots. Tatum was good in his only game against the Thunder this season, finishing with 24 points and six rebounds in 34.3 minutes. The Celtics will be without Aron Baynes, who suffered a bruised left foot in Friday’s win over the Knicks.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Toronto Raptors

EVEN

Clippers

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is from nearby Hamilton, Ontario, will play his first NBA game in Canada Sunday. Gilgeous-Alexander has been a bit more consistent of late, scoring at least 20 fantasy points in four consecutive games, with 30+ fantasy points in two of those.

Lou Williams has been even more consistent, with at least 38 fantasy points in each of his last five games. Williams is the most expensive shooting guard on the slate by far, but he still feels underpriced.

Tobias Harris had been the Clippers’ most consistent player with Danilo Gallinari out, but Harris struggled Saturday against Detroit, scoring just seven points on 12 field goal attempts. The Clippers were the only team on Sunday’s slate to play Saturday, which could put them at a disadvantage.

Raptors

Kawhi Leonard was his career-best streak of 22 consecutive games with at least 20 points scored come to an end Thursday against Milwaukee. Leonard sat out Toronto’s first game against the Clippers this season.

No team has allowed more fantasy points to opposing power forwards this season than the Clippers, and that remains a position of strength for the Raptors. I would probably just play whichever Raptors power forward is cheapest on the site I happen to be playing, but they are both viable in all formats.
