Please note that all pivot plays MUST be used in the same lineup for the salaries to work.

Golden State @ Brooklyn

GSW -10

Warriors

The Warriors are 5-1, with the second-best point differential in the NBA, all with Klay Thompson shooting 38.3 percent from the field and 12.9 percent on threes. Thompson is a 45.7 percent shooter in his career, including 41.9 percent on threes, but it certainly looks like he is struggling with his confidence, especially when he is asked to carry the offense when Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant sit. For his part, Steph Curry has at least 29 points, five three-pointers made and four rebounds in every game this season. Durant has not been quite as consistent, but he has been just as impressive. He is coming off his best scoring game of the season, as he had 41 points against the Knicks Friday night. Center Damian Jones has seen his playing time plummet this week, but he is still shooting 86.4 percent from the field. No one outside of the big four is averaging more than 20.8 MPG for the Warriors.

Nets

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has come off the bench in both games since returning from a hip injury and the birth of his son. At some point, he is probably going to start playing more minutes and producing more for fantasy, but he is awfully risky until we see it, or at least until he returns to the starting lineup.

One thing that appears clear is that even when Hollis-Jefferson is at full strength, Caris LeVert should still see plenty of minutes and shots. LeVert has scored at least 19 points in four of five games this season, and he is averaging 5.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists on top of it.

D’Angelo Russell looks like he is heating up, setting new season highs in scoring in each of his last two games despite playing fewer minutes. Of course, he also had a season-high five turnovers Friday.

Utah Jazz @ Dallas Mavericks

UTAH -4

Jazz

The Jazz have five players averaging more than 19 minutes per game and a sixth (Derrick Favors) averaging 23.3 minutes. Any worthwhile fantasy production is likely coming from those players. Ricky Rubio is off to a terrible start offensively, shooting 21.9 percent. That is likely to improve, but considering he has never been an above-average shooter for an entire season, it’s hard to expect much in the near future.

The biggest surprises for Utah to this point have been Joe Ingles and Jae Crowder. Crowder is averaging 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds this season despite shooting just 39.4 percent. Ingles is shooting 54.2 percent, averaging 17.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals.

Mavericks

The Mavericks are taking 43 percent of their shots from behind the arc, and only 8.7 percent of their shots are 2-pointers outside of the paint. It will be interesting to see how much that number increases now that Harrison Barnes is back. Barnes was reportedly facing a slightly lighter workload Friday in his first game back, but he still finished with 14 points, six rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes. Dorian Finney-Smith played just 20 minutes in that game.

Dennis Smith Jr. did not play Friday due to an ankle sprain, and Jalen Brunson got his first career start in that game. He played 30 minutes but finished with eight points, three rebounds and four assists on 3-11 shooting. Center DeAndre Jordan actually led the Mavs in assists in that game, which probably isn’t a successful formula for winning basketball games.

Phoenix @ Oklahoma City

Total: N/A

Phoenix

The Suns will play the second of a back-to-back, and they may be without leading scorer Devin Booker, who missed Saturday’s game with a hamstring injury. Phoenix struggled with Booker out Saturday, as rookie DeAndre Ayton was the only player with more than 12 points. Josh Jackson, TJ Warren and Mikal Bridges all failed to capitalize on increased opportunities. Those four, along with Trevor Ariza, shot a combined 25 percent against Memphis.

Thunder

Once again, the Thunder don’t have a line due to Russell Westbrook’s questionable status. Dennis Schroder and Paul George are pretty much must-plays when Westbrook is out, but considering Phoenix has the third worst defensive rating in the NBA, they might be must-plays anyway. Steven Adams has been great all season, though his numbers have been better this season with Westbrook out as well.

Washington @ Los Angeles Clippers

Total: 228

LAC -4

Wizards

Markieff Morris missed practice Saturday due to the flu, and an already thin frontcourt could really be in trouble if Morris is out. Jason Smith and Ian Mahinmi would likely have to play most of the center minutes, and Kelly Oubre Jr. and Otto Porter Jr. could both see more time at power forward.

Clippers

Tobias Harris is the only Clipper averaging more than 30 minutes per game, though Danilo Gallinari is close. Lou Williams is averaging 16.6 points in 25.6 minutes per game, and while his shooting may rebound a bit to last year’s levels, his playing time probably won’t unless the Clippers suffer some injuries or start losing. Marcin Gortat has gone scoreless in his last two games, but considering his well-known feeling about some of his former teammates, a revenge game wouldn’t be out of the question.
