As much as I love DraftEasy’s Rapidfire game, there is no denying we got back on the winning track last week with the Over/Under game. While both of last week’s slates were affected by injured players with questionable designations, today’s slates should be pretty straightforward. Friday’s early slate features Denver at Washington, while the late slate has Boston at Portland. Both should be good games with playoff implications, which only adds to the fun of picking over/unders.

Early Only 1

Paul Millsap 16.5 points: UNDER

Millsap has topped 15 points just twice in 12 games since returning from his wrist injury. Millsap is certainly capable of going over, especially with Gary Harris out, but he is unlikely to ever be a focal point of the offense. Millsap is sixth on the Nuggets in Field Goal Attempts Per Game over the last week, behind offensive juggernauts Wilson Chandler and Trey Lyles.

Markieff Morris 13.5 points: OVER

The Nuggets are marginally better defensively with Paul Millsap back, but they are still 22nd in the NBA in defensive efficiency in March. Markieff Morris has gone over 13.5 points in eight of his last 11 games. He was terrible against the Spurs Wednesday, but I expect him to bounce back in a much easier matchup Friday.

Nikola Jokic 6.5 assists: UNDER

We think of Nikola Jokic as constantly slinging passes and racking up triple-doubles, but he has gone over six assists in just two of his last nine games. The Wizards are seventh in the NBA in opponent’s assists since the All-Star BreakJokic has just 10 assists total in the three games Harris has missed, and Harris’s continued absence makes this a pretty easy call.

Late Only 1

Damian Lillard 25.5 points: OVER

At first blush, this number seems awfully low, but the Celtics are still sixth in the NBA in opponent’s points since the All-Star Break. Jusuf Nurkic is questionable for Friday’s game, and if he is out, Lillard might have a hard time getting open. Lillard has slowed down after a scorching start to the month, scoring 24 points or fewer in four consecutive games. Lillard is 6-31 on threes in those four games, and he cannot possibly stay so cold for much longer.

Jayson Tatum 6.5 rebounds: UNDER

Tatum has topped five rebounds just twice in his last 12 games, but both of those games have come within the last week. Only two teams have allowed fewer rebounds than the Trail Blazers since the All-Star Break. Tatum should continue to play heavy minutes with Jaylen Brown out one more game

C.J. McCollum 2.5 3PM: OVER

McCollum is averaging 2.4 3PM in March, but like Lillard, he has been ice cold of late form behind the arc, going 2-13 on threes in his last three games. Like Lillard, McCollum appears due to break out of his slump.
