This may be the shortest Friday Waiver Report of the season, but it may also be the most important. While not much has changed since Tuesday, there are some significant players expected to sit out or return Sunday who could have a significant impact for fantasy. While the quarterbacks may get most of the attention, running back could be where the real value lies on this list.

The players below are listed roughly in the order I would seek to add them, though things could change based on injury reports. Each player is listed along with his ownership percentage in Yahoo! leagues.

Blaine Gabbert, QB, ARI (2%) – This is a fantastic matchup, and there is no reason to believe Blaine Gabbert is significantly worse than Drew Stanton. Stanton threw for 273 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 despite missing several open receivers, and Gabbert should be able to do something similar at the very least.

Eddie Lacy, RB, SEA (15%) – Lacy is expected to return Monday night, and he should at least be in the mix for carries after Thomas Rawls was less than impressive last week. Seattle’s backfield hasn’t provided much fantasy value yet this season, but that could change, especially if left tackle Duane Brown is able to play.

Bruce Ellington, WR, HOU (4%) – Will Fuller is expected to miss Week 11, which could open up some targets for Ellington and C.J. Fiedorowicz. Those targets would come from Tom Savage, which limits their value, but Ellington does have at least three receptions in two consecutive games including a touchdown last week against the Rams.

Terrance West, RB, BAL (10%) – For all of the attention Danny Woodhead’s potential return is getting—and rightfully so—the news that Terrance West practiced in full this week was largely ignored. West may have lost his early-down role to Alex Collins, but he could just as easily lead Baltimore’s backfield in touches. He is worth stashing on your bench this week, and if he doesn’t get much work against the Packers you can go ahead and drop him.

Nathan Peterman, QB, BUF (5%) – There is a nonzero chance the Bills coaches know what they are doing, and Peterman will actually be better Sunday than Tyrod Taylor would have been. If you have been relying on Tyrod Taylor, odds are there aren’t many good options available to replace him. Buffalo finally has some weapons, and Peterman can probably get you 200 passing yards and a touchdown or two.

Derrick Coleman, RB, ATL (0%) – Devonta Freeman is likely out Monday with a concussion, and third-string back Terron Ward is questionable with a knee injury. If Ward cannot go, Coleman would serve as the backup to Tevin Coleman.
