Week 6 featured a lot of injuries, and while Aaron Rodgers rightfully gets all of the headlines, plenty of fantasy players find themselves in need of quarterback and receiver help this week. The good news is there are a lot of strong streaming quarterbacks this week, as well as some receivers worth stashing who could be quite valuable in a week or two.

The waiver adds listed below include their ownership in Yahoo! Fantasy leagues as well as the amount in FAAB I would be willing to spend out of a $100 budget.

10-Team League Waiver Adds

Wendell Smallwood, RB, PHI (34%) – Smallwood had at least 13 touches in each of his last two games before going down with a knee injury, and there is little reason to believe that usage would change when he is healthy. Eagles coach Doug Pederson said he expects Smallwood to be a game-time decision Monday Night, which is less than ideal, but there are a lot of lesser running backs who are owned in more leagues, and Smallwood is certainly worth stashing. $5

Sterling Shepard, WR, NYG (52%) – Shepard was better than I thought he would be when Odell Beckham Jr. was out in Week 1, and the Giants’ offense looked respectable against the Broncos Sunday night. The Giants host Seattle this week, so even if Shepard returns, you probably aren’t using him until after New York’s Week 8 bye. $5

Donte Moncrief, WR, IND (45%) – Moncrief had a pretty bad drop in the end zone on Indy’s first drive Sunday, or else he would probably be getting a lot more buzz. That being said, this is really just a play for when Andrew Luck returns. Once that happens, Moncrief will likely be 100 percent owned, and it would be a good idea to get ahead of the rush if you can. $5

Kenny Stills, WR, MIA (19%) – Stills had a respectable four receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown Sunday with DeVante Parker out. Miami just doesn’t air it out enough for Stills to be really valuable, but he is startable with so many receivers either injured or on a bye. $5

Matt Forte, RB, NYJ (22%) – Forte was the lead back with Bilal Powell out Sunday, and that could remain the case even when Powell returns. Forte had eight receptions for 59 yards against the Patriots, and his receiving ability should give him a pretty high floor, even if playing in a poor offense limits his ceiling. $5

Tyrod Taylor, QB, BUF (38%) – Taylor is the safest of this week’s streaming options, even if some of the younger quarterbacks have higher upside. Carson Palmer passed for 283 yards against the Bucs last week, the fewest passing yards they have allowed all season. $5

Marvin Jones, WR, DET (55%) – With Golden Tate set to miss multiple weeks, Marvin Jones has a chance at more targets, even if he gets more defensive attention. Jones might have made this list even if Tate hadn’t suffered an injury, as Jones has had six receptions in each of his last two games. $5

Austin Hooper, TE, ATL (50%) – If Mohammad Sanu is out this week, Hooper is a must-start. Hooper has 12 receptions on 16 targets over the last two weeks, and every Atlanta pass catcher is startable against a New England defense that is the first in NFL history to allow 300+ passing yards in six consecutive games. The only problem with Hooper is the Falcons play Sunday night, so you may have to make a decision about starting him before you know Sanu’s status. That being said, Hooper is a borderline starter even if Sanu returns, thanks to the matchup. $5

Carolina Panthers DEF (54%) – It seems pretty clear Carolina’s defense is not as good as in years past, but it doesn’t have to be to stop the Bears. Mitchell Trubisky has completed 20 passes through two games and has turned the ball over three times. $3

12-Team Leagues

Brett Hundley, QB, GB (0%) – There is a non-zero chance Hundley is an average NFL quarterback, and that would be enough to make him a fantasy starter considering his weapons. I wouldn’t feel great using him in Week 7, even at home against New Orleans, but it isn’t the worst idea, and it is probably worth taking a shot on his upside. $15

George Kittle, TE, SF (8%) – Kittle has at least eight targets in two consecutive games. Aldrick Robinson, Marquise Goodwin and Trent Taylor are unlikely to ever command consistent targets, meaning Kittle could see consistent work for the rest of the season. $15

Kenny Golladay, WR, DET (15%) – When you combine his preseason hype and Golden Tate’s injury, Kenny Golladay might be the most popular waiver add this week, especially in deeper leagues. The Lions have a bye this week and host Pittsburgh in Week 8, but if he sees his role increase and Golden Tate remains out, Golladay could be a fantasy starter as soon as Week 9. $10

Orleans Darkwa, RB, NYG (12%) – Darkwa had a huge game Sunday night, but I don’t see any reason to believe his success will continue. Paul Perkins could return this week to muddy the running back depth chart, and even if Darkwa had the job all to himself, he plays on a bad offense, and this week he faces a Seattle team that has allowed the fourth fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. $1

New York Jets DEF (8%) – Outside of a terrible second half at Oakland, the Jets’ defense has been pretty respectable. They have at least one interception in five out of six games, and we all know Jay Cutler is good for at least one interception Sunday. $1

14+ Team Leagues

C.J. Beathard, QB, SF (1%) – He probably isn’t significantly better than Brian Hoyer, but stranger things have happened. Brett Hundley has better weapons, but that is the only reason he is higher than Beathard on this list. $5

Ryan Fitzpatrick, QB, TB (0%) – Jameis Winston owners should consider adding Fitzpatrick, especially in deeper leagues. Fitzpatrick is likely to cost you less than even somebody like C.J. Beathard, and Fitzpatrick showed on Sunday that his ceiling remains as high as anyone’s. $1

TJ Jones, WR, DET (0%) – Jones could compete with Kenny Golladay to be the number two wide receiver in Detroit with Golden Tate out. Jones would be even higher on this list if Golladay were to miss more time, but it wouldn’t be shocking if Jones is actually more valuable than Golladay going forward. $5

New Orleans Saints DEF (5%) – I still don’t trust New Orleans defense, even though they have 13 sacks and forced nine turnovers in their last three games. That being said, Brett Hundley is making his first career start behind an offensive line that lost three players to injury last week. Even if Green Bay puts points on the board, there is potential for multiple sacks and interceptions this week. It also doesn’t hurt that the Saints host the Bears in Week 8. $3
