Back-to-back games are pretty rare in the WNBA, and since the Sparks play in Phoenix on Saturday after falling to the Wings Friday, it seems like something worth discussing. Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike were awesome in that game, scoring 43.2 and 50.6 fantasy points respectively. Ogwumike especially is a tempting DFS play considering she has scored at least 20 points in six of her seven games this season, but I won’t have any Sparks in any of my lineups.

If the Sparks played Phoenix Friday and Dallas Saturday, I might have been more inclined to take a chance on the Sparks, but there are more than enough worthwhile plays that I didn’t even consider any Los Angeles players that seriously.

I usually play my cash lineup in at least one GPP just in case everything goes right and that lineup goes off, but I like Saturday’s cash lineup so much I feel like it could just as easily be a GPP lineup. I feel like every player has a high floor but also a pretty high ceiling, and they are all in favorable situations. If I could only play one lineup Saturday, it would be my cash lineup. That being said, I stand by my GPP lineup as well, and I will certainly use it myself.

The plan, as always, is to have a WNBA Playbook and Optimal Lineups whenever there are three or more WNBA games. Saturday is the second of three consecutive days with three games, so I will see all of you back here Sunday. I look forward to your feedback in the comments below, in the forum, and on Twitter. Good luck everybody.

Kelsey Plum, G, SA $  4,200I was finally right about Plum on Tuesday, but I guess that shouldn't be a surprise after I spent 1200 words on her in my introduction. Plum played 25 minutes for the second consecutive game but went 2-8 from the field and 1-5 on threes. It was encouraging to see her only turn the ball over twice, and the shots will fall. The Sky are surrendering 19.5 assists per game this season, and their backcourt defense is suspect at best with Courtney Vandersloot out.
Cappie Pondexter, G, CHI $  7,000Courtney Vandersloot is off to Eurobasket, and in the four games she has missed this season, Cappie Pondexter averaged 34.0 fppg. Cappie went 2-11 from the field Tuesday, and she will almost certainly bounce back, especially since Saturday's game is just her second in the last nine days. No team has allowed more assists than the Stars this season, and Cappie is second in the WNBA in assists at 5.3 per game.
Jonquel Jones, F, CON $  7,700No team has allowed more rebounds or blocks this season than the Atlanta Dream. Jonquel Jones leads the WNBA in rebounds per game and she is eighth in blocks. If you take out her two games against Minnesota, Jones is averaging 38.9 fppg. Candace Parker is averaging 37.5 fppg and she costs $800 more than Jones.
Diana Taurasi, G, PHO $  7,000After a slow start that included a suspension, Diana Taurasi has scored at least 29.4 fantasy points in three consecutive games. Taurasi is shooting 38.2 percent on threes this season but she was 3-13 from beyond the arc her last time out.
Danielle Robinson, G, PHO $  4,300If you want to take advantage of the Sparks on the road for the second game of a back-to-back, there aren't a whole lot of attractive options. Robinson is averaging 18.3 fppg this season, and while I think she probably tops that Saturday, it is worth noting her season high is 23.8 fantasy points.
Courtney Williams, G, CON $  4,600Williams has played at least 27 minutes in three games this season, and she has scored at least 10 points and taken at least 11 shots in each of them. She should play a ton Saturday with Alex Bentley out. I suspect she will be a popular play after her double-double last week against San Antonio, but she is a strong play anyway, especially in cash lineups.
Rachael Banham, G, CON $  3,000Rachael Banham figures to be the other beneficiary of Bentley's absence. Banham has played 10+ minutes twice this season, and she had seven points and two rebounds in each game. I would be happy with that in a cash lineup.
Stefanie Dolson, F, CHI $  5,500Dolson has scored 37 fantasy points or more twice this season, but she failed to reach 20 points four times. Dolson is tied for fifth in the league in three-point percentage, and if she makes a few threes she is a threat to have another big night.
Imani Boyette, F, CHI $  4,000Boyette has supplanted Jessica Breland as the primary frontcourt complement to Stefanie Dolson. Boyette has played 24 minutes in each of her last two games, topping 20 fantasy points each time. She feels pretty safe for her price, and she has double-double potential.
Tamara Young, F, CHI $  5,500Like Cappie Pondexter, Tamera Young was much better early in the season when Courtney Vandersloot was out. Young has played at least 30 minutes in all but one game this season, and she should bounce back after shooting 25 percent ffromthe field Tuesday. I don't think anyone on San Antonio can match Young's combination of size and athleticism.
Leilani Mitchell, G, PHO $  5,500Mitchell is a 47.1 percent three-point shooter this season, and only the Mystics have allowed more threes or allowed opponents to shoot them at a higher percentage than the Sparks. Mitchell has double-digit points in every game since the season opener, and that makes her a cash play at the very least.
Elizabeth Williams, F, ATL $  5,400Wednesday marked the first game Williams failed to score at least 20 fantasy points, and I am willing to blame that on Kiah Stokes and Tina Charles. Williams is super safe, and I don't know that I would say that about any of the other forwards in her price range.
Isabelle Harrison, F, SA $  4,700Only the Dream have surrendered more rebounds than the Sky this season, and only two teams have allowed more points. Moriah Jefferson doesn't play enough minutes to have much of a ceiling, and Kayla McBride can be very streaky, which leaves Isabelle Harrison as the best DFS play on San Antonio. Harrison has scored in double-figures six times this season, and she has proven double-double upside.
Damiris Dantas, F, ATL $  3,300With Sancho Lyttle playing for Spain in EuroBasket, Dantas is a lock to play at least 25 minutes, and I suspect she will see well over 30. Dantas has played 25+ minutes three tims this season, and she had at least 12 points and four rebounds in each game.
Jordan Hooper, F, ATL $  3,000Atlanta gave a 2018 second-round draft pick to Connecticut for Hooper, who the Sun signed off waivers earlier this year. That shows how desperate Atlanta is for forwards, and while it is anyone's guess how much or how well Hooper will play, there is a pretty decent chance she sees significant playing time right away. Hooper is a solid three-point shooter, and she is a GPP punt play on the off chance she comes in and makes a few threes.
Brittney Griner, F, PHO $  9,300Griner is difficult to afford, and Nneka Ogwumike is an able defender inside. Griner does have a big advantage at home after the Sparks played Friday, and Griner is sixth in the league in usage, so if Phoenix scores a lot, she will almost certainly be involved.
Shekinna Stricklen, G, CON $  3,200Stricklen has started Connecticut's last two games, playing at least 28 minutes in each thanks to Morgan Tuck's injury. Stricklen scored 26.5 fantasy points in her first start and 12.3 in her second, and she is cheap enough to have value in cash and GPP lineups so long as she starts again.
