What do we do when a three-game WNBA DFS slate features two rematches of games from Friday that featured disappointing fantasy production from most of the players involved? That is the question facing us Sunday. On top of that, we have teams integrating players back into their squads following injuries or playing overseas. That is decreasing the minutes of a number of players we would otherwise look to play for DFS.

It is not impossible to find safe players we can be comfortable with for cash games, but it is difficult. The truly safe players are, as you would expect, the most expensive, and there are not any great punt plays we can use to afford them. The good news for Sunday’s slate is we have two games at five and one at six so if there are any surprise starters who could provide fantasy value, there is a good chance we will know about it early enough to adjust our lineups.

Brittney SykesLACHI660018.92470020.60
I liked Brittney Sykes on Friday and she is the same price on FanDuel and just slightly more expensive on DraftKings after scoring 30+ fantasy points against Chicago. I would like Sykes better if she starts but she tied Nneka Ogwumike for the most minutes played Friday and she still hasn't shot the ball particularly well yet.
Crystal DangerfieldMINCON740022.94530022.98
Dangerfield has been inconsistent so far this season, but she has played at least 28 minutes in three of her four games, with at least 28.25 fantasy points in two of those. Dangerfield is a nice GPP play for her price.
DiJonai CarringtonCONMIN40007.6131007.89
Carrington has been inconsistent to start her WNBA career, but she played a season-high 16 minutes Friday, scoring 15.25 fantasy points. If she gets that many minutes again she could be a nice punt play against a Lynx team that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing guards.
DeWanna BonnerCONMIN1030036.5760035.43
Bonner is the safest guard on this slate, and it isn't particularly close. Bonner is averaging 34+ fantasy points for the fourth consecutive season, and I am paying up for her everywhere I can afford her.
Jasmine ThomasCONMIN800024.25600022.94
Thomas has been consistent after a slow start, with at least 26 fantasy points in four straight games. Minnesota has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing guards and Thomas is best positioned to take advantage.

Diamond DeShieldsCHILA890024.65550023.36
I think DeShields is playable in DK GPPs, but she is mostly on this list for her price on FanDuel. She had a rough game against Los Angeles Friday, scoring 14 points but doing little else and turning the ball over four times. She had at least 20 FD fantasy points in four straight games before that, and I like her chances of bouncing back in this game.

Dearica HambyLVIND820026.04590026.32
It can be rough to bank on a blowout for DFS, but after the Aces won by 36 Friday, I'm expecting another blowout in the rematch. Hamby played a season-high 30 minutes in that game, finishing with 36.75 fantasy points. She is a nice value and even if she only plays 25 minutes, this should be a great matchup for her.
Napheesa CollierMINCON1010030.25750031.60
Collier only shot 33 percent in her first game of the season but still finished with 30.25 fantasy points. She is a bit expensive on DK but I love her price on FD.
Jonquel JonesCONMIN1100045.89900044.26
Is it possible for a player to cost $11,000 and still be a value? She has at least 43 fatnasy points in five consecutive games and while Minnesota is better against forwards than against guards, they're not good enough to scare me away.
JiSu ParkLVIND36005.9630006.45
Park matched her season high with 18 minutes Friday in a blowout. She didn't do anything with those minutes but at her price, I'm willing to take a shot again.
Lauren CoxINDLV45006.7530007.10
Cox has played 35 minutes this season without scoring a single point, and that cannot continue much longer for the third overall pick in 2020. She is probably safer than Park, though she is also more expensive on DraftKings.

Ruthy HebardCHILA790027.35690028.18
I still think Hebard should cede a lot more minutes to Azura Stevens and Astou Ndour, but I don't coach the Sky. Hebard played 35 minutes against L.A. Friday and I think the fact she is a different player than Chicago's other bigs works in her favor. She already has two double-doubles on the season, which gives her an awfully high ceiling.
